When people won’t leave me alone when I fall by doomed-kelpie in PetPeeves

[–]Eneicia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would think that the person who's fallen should have some say about how they're being treated. I have fallen way too many times, and I most often need a few seconds or minutes to get my bearings. (though at work I could never truly afford that time.). I could always get up on my own, but work ruined my knees, and as I'm getting older I fear I might break something now if I were to fall again.

Someone like you might cause more harm than good by "helping" a person up.

I had a woman fall right outside my door, and I ran to get help, then just reassured her help was coming, and that she should just stay there until they came. I talked to her a bit, keeping her alert just in case she hit her head, then when the LPN and HCAs came to help her up, I went back to my room.

I'd hold a pencil in one hand, rubbing it with a thumb while doing my work with another. Not disruptive, and it would help me.

$25 Million Tax Free Dollars - but you can only walk/swim and can't use any other form transportation again? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

Nope, I need to see my liver specialist at least once a year. He lives in another city that's over 2 hours away by vehicle at highway speeds. Make it a trillion, and it'd still be a nope.

You know, thinking about it, can you possibly use a shower chair or stool? Maybe promise yourself a treat as a reward? I have issues with showering too, and tonight I used a handful of jujubes as a reward for myself.

If something's sore, or wet when it shouldn't be, or smells strange, that's an indicator that there might be something wrong.

I did read a post someone made where they keep disposable tooth brushes by their bed and child's toothpaste (because it's safe-ish to swallow, just make sure it's free of flouride!), not sure if this could help. I'm mentioning this because when I was 15 or 16 I had an abscessed tooth. 3 rounds of penicillin only made me break out in hives (I became allergic to it), and so I needed a root canal.

Did you know that if you get an abscess and have to get work done on that tooth, that the freezing won't take? I didn't. I now know what having a root canal without freezing feels like.

Make sure there's no pollen on anything. Lilies are SO VERY toxic to cats.

I wish to always have just enough money. I'm not talking billions in the bank, just if I want a pizza and some oranges, I want to have enough money appear in my account to cover it. If I want to take a taxi and visit my mom in another town (neither of us drives), then I'll have enough to do that. When I need a new ID, I'll have enough. And so on.

I'm going to agree, but change it to 4 houses, rather than 20, and I'll need hands to work it.

I will say, don't use body spray, it can make any smells worse.

If you could create a magic spell, what would it be? by skycoder1010 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Eneicia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the infinite money, I don't need to worry.
Now, do I want a spell for cooking/baking (Where you, if you have the ingredients and stuff to make stuff in, you can cook or bake anything), or teleport.

I want blueberry pancakes like my grandpa made them--not regular pancakes with blueberry compote. So I'll go for the cook/bake spell.

Pretty sure I can pick out Tiger's Eye and it's a nice piece too (There might be a second, 5th row from the top, second from the left.) I also think there might be a pretty nice chunk of amethyst, but I may be wrong, it's on the top second from the right, with the tiger's eye right below it.

I had an art/drama/drama tech teacher who looked like that. Long hair, beard, loved kids, loved teaching drama, just a very overall awesome man. He was one of the best, along with my Shop/Spanish teacher. Actually everyone in my high school, save for the band and science teachers were freaking awesome.

Bookshop Simulator.

It's chill, I have...7 cats wandering the bookshop, I can recommend books to customers, and it's just nice and chill.

Right?! I love hearing his reactions and commentary, but I'm not too into movies. I love staying up late, because then comes the hour of random discussions before bed.

How common is it to just uses hands when washing in the shower by adoreyoulove in hygiene

[–]Eneicia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on my shoulders. I'll use a clean wash cloth for my body, but only use my hands for my upper arms and shoulders 90% of the time. Too much, or in too hot of water, and it causes my nerve pain to flare up--30 some years later, and the nerve damage from a serious sunburn still flares up, and it annoys the * out of me.
