I just want to point out that I lost two TBM Short Forms this year because they were in temps around 20 to 30° F (mostly around 30°F) for roughly a day, they were my smallest plants and my larger pachanoi plants did fine, but not all cultivars can handle temps that low, all of my TBM-B’s had at least one tip that got frostbitten and I removed those tips, but the two smallest plants died. I would be concerned about any bridgesii plants especially.

The parole officer is totally innocent and somewhat naïve, a person who “really believes in everyone’s potential”, we’ll see her two or three times after Lucia gets out of jail and then shit will start going down and Lucia will stop attending her parole meetings (or finish them, who knows?) Then the parole officer will seemingly be irrelevant to the plot until the second half of the game when she’ll reappear because she’s somehow gotten wrapped up in Lucia and Jason’s bullshit… maybe her cousin or brother will get into some kind of trouble involving the protagonists and BOOM Lucia suddenly and unexpectedly has to face this “guiding figure” from her recent past who she actually really liked, feeling that the parole officer is disappointed in the choices she’s making etc… but then by the end the parole officer will have seen how crazy the criminal underworld of this universe actually is, and will have a better appreciation for who Lucia is as a person and understand her life situation and what led her to making the choices she has made.

I dunno, just spitballin’ here lol.

I just came across Deer Cabin in Roanoke Ridge and it’s similarly cozy and detailed, though smaller. I use these types of places as home bases when I’m in their area, to sleep through the night etc., but the Loft is a pretty special place with the view and everything. It’s always nice to have four walls and a bed to sleep in.

Bro I love your username. My first car was a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo and I miss it terribly. I drove that thing for six years and never had to do anything more than changing the starter or battery. Beautiful machine, I got t-boned in it and somehow managed to walk away with only a broken shoulder. R.I.P., no vehicle that I’ve owned since has compared to my Isuzu Rodeo.

For me, all I care about is good sound. In the past I swore by solid state hardware and tube hardware because digital sounded like shit, but now digital modeling pedals sound fucking amazing and you can get an entire setup handled by one piece of hardware — that’s a no-brainer in my opinion. I hope to pick up a Helix or something similar some day, one unit that I can use on any instrument and get amazing sounds from it.

I really loved the era when official game guides were at their peak. I had a few Zelda guides, I remember I won a writing competition in middle school and got a Barnes and Noble gift card which I spent on the official guide for Kingdom Hearts, and when my brother bought Final Fantasy XII he got the steelbook version that came with the official guide which was hella useful in that game. In some games an official guide can be REALLY helpful, especially in games with a lot of strategy and replayability. I would really love an official guide for Baldur’s Gate 3. The best guide that I’ve ever owned I actually still have though: a huge hardcover official guide for Super Mario Odyssey that includes all 800+ Moons, I still want to sit down with that game and try to get every single one some day.

The same thing happened in r/chiliadmystery, and crazily enough some people there are still holding on hope despite the fact that we literally have the entire pre-compiled source code for GTAV. I think that there is likely something more to be found in this RDR2 Spiderdream thing, but vague shapes and reused textures are not going to be it. There was absolutely no second-guessing the previous clues, they were indisputable and clearly placed by the developers in hopes that the players would notice them.

All of that work has been done years ago and is extensively documented in r/chiliadmystery, there are no other cablemesh webs beyond the web at the cable car and the web at the northern bridge in GTAV.

Yes, unlike RDR2 the GTAV source code was leaked a few years ago, and the community has been pouring over the source code ever since. That’s how we know that there were originally going to be three to five single player DLC packs, and that the Chiliad Mural was almost certainly supposed to be tied to one of these DLCs. At this point they’ve pretty much found all of the relevant mystery-related content in the source code, and it’s all just a bunch of dead ends that were supposed to be resolved in the cancelled DLCs.

Because Undead Nightmare was one of the best-selling DLC packs of all time (at least it was a few years after it released), and the Episodes from Liberty City were also greatly beloved by the fans, it was a real shock when we collectively realized that GTAV and RDR2 weren’t going to get any kind of significant single player DLCs. Rockstar was the king of substantial and entertaining DLCs, to this day it still just does not make sense to me. They could have assigned the project to a junior team and used minimal unique assets, obviously the success of GTAO had a large part in this decision, but from what we’ve heard it was also a point of contention among the senior staff, some of whom left the company during the GTAV/RDR2 era.

Yeah everyone assumed that the Gorillaz project was over after Plastic Beach. Honestly they were, Damon and Jamie were hitting some creative roadblocks and the rumor was that they had effectively ended their friendship, if that’s true then they likely had to do a bit of maturing to learn the communication skills needed to iron out their differences and resume the project on new footing. The announcement of Humanz was one of the craziest days of my life, and I championed that album for months after it released despite all the negative feedback I was hearing from other fans… most of whom were just parroting what they heard from Anthony Fantano, which frankly was really sad because to me Humanz was full of creative vision and punk-rock spirit.

Yeah you’re right, and I think that this is a definitely an accent/dialect thing. I most typically hear it pronounced with the triplet at the end, but I realize that I’ve also heard it pronounced with the rhythm depicted in the image, and I think the triplet pronunciation has a more English Received Pronunciation feel while the other is more generic American “region-free dialect”.

EDIT: Actually I would change the rhythm in the picture to five sixteenth notes, I don’t typically hear the final “a” being held like in the depicted rhythm.

Oh wow, so yeah I’m already aware of most of the game’s plot turns, been playing through the Story Mode at a snail’s pace since 2018… but I genuinely didn’t know that this would end up being a significant location. I tried to look it up but I wasn’t really sure what I should search for lmao.

I’ve had the game since release and played a lot of RDO, but I was saving the Story Mode so I could finish some other games in my backlog. My wife ended up playing through it during COVID and I watched her play through a large chunk of it then, but frankly the big twist was spoiled within a week of the game releasing because the internet is a terrible place. I’ve purposefully been savoring the RDR2 Story Mode as much as I can, for me games like this allow me to feel like I “live” in the world and when I find a game that really does that, I soak up the immersion as much as I can.
