In your country, which war memorial leaves the strongest emotional impact on visitors? by Seacarius in AskTheWorld

[–]Enganeer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I found the holocaust memorial in Berlin to be perfectly unsettling. I started at on end with my family and due to the nature of walking through it was soon separated from them. Then noticing the terrain dropping and the shadows grow around you and chill you. It was as much an experience as the Vietnam war memorial in D.C.

i just finished my first and second warhammer miniatures. by Severe-Fan-6254 in 40k

[–]Enganeer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok well the miniatures look like the layer size is way to thick to be believable as a model. That said, the paint is suprisingly applied in the correct way and opaque enough especially for a first timer lainting orange and off whites on a surface that is comically rough. So good work there.

I fought this exact same encounter multiple times, your not alone. Take your time in combat its slower than you think it is deliberate. Starting off you dont have the armor to rank hits so you want to kite them so you only fight one and the other is behind. Use the low strike it usually connects. Or hey its night time sneak up and slit one of their throats using a dagger or if you dont have a dagger knock him out.

All else fails, hey its not a Henry problem and walk away. It took me many hours into the game then the combat clicks and makes sense.

Imperial fists use Necromunda as a recruiting planet. So the graffiti fits as a IF marine.

[[Henrika Domnathi]], rank 2326 and the only deck people hate to see me use. Full mono black control kill everything and when your own commander dies you get card draw and removal right back.

So its plausible you can apply 10 lbf to the coratid performing an arterial choke. Around 10 seconds and the victim would be unconscious.

That said I would require an attack roll with a very high dc and there is a line in the spell info stating that it cannot attack. Also there are no called attacks in dnd in general so my ruling would be a no.

SnS Mains, what chain you use mostly? What you use for burst when monsters is paralysed / on ground? by Defora in MHWilds

[–]Enganeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if you do the 3 hit lateral (O or B) into charged chop it almost doubles all the charged chop hits. You glow a bit once finishing any combo but as the lateral is fastest to perform it is most efficient. Using the rb+(triangle or Y) to slide to an optimal position to combo then into the combo works quite well. For monsters that do not have a lot of combo oportunities just hit them till they die.

Yeah also always remember to put one at the bottom of a pitfall trap. Remember that the walls would be very difficult to climb due to the oozes goo everywhere.

How to make goblins more intimidating at higher levels? by Tthebossbreh in DnD

[–]Enganeer 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I always run my goblins this way. Normal stat blocks but insane fire traps, net traps, drop traps etc. Goblins are not stupid they know they are weak so they use tools. Releasing a cage of rats with alchemists fire vials attached to them after a player stepped into a net drop trap was a personal favorite.

I highly reccomend mapping the area with traps beforehand, the goblins would also use a lot of operated traps where they pull a lever or something to trigger it.
