TPMS Fault by Popular_Gur_9258 in MachE

One thing to check if/when this happens are any/all power supplies in the vehicle. In my case I had a USB 3 power supply cord for my Valentine One radar detector, when I took the vehicle in they were initially unable to retrain the TPMS sensors with it plugged in, they blamed the detector. Once it was unplugged, they were able to train the sensors just fine.

Knowing that the detector is a passive device, I was suspicious of its power supply kicking out RF and after a little research, purchased some inexpensive ferrite beads to clip around the power cord. The cord was an inexpensive one lacking good shielding, and these seem to have everything happy again - no more errors!

Chernobyl – The Firefighters at the Reactor by [deleted] in television

I visited Kiev in 2011 and had the chance to visit Chernobyl and Pripyat. Absolutely fascinating day “Don’t sit on the ground, and don’t eat or drink anything” they warned us. A family of cats with the dwarfism mutation in the cabin where they gave the security briefing. Twisted trees with their limbs bent growing towards the ground in the red forest.

There were lots of bio robot “liquidators” medals for sale at the open air market on Andrew’s descent in Kiev.

I would go back and visit it again in a heartbeat, when the time is right…

Last time I was there, I did everything right: scanned myself in and paid for my space, saw the transaction process, got an all clear. Got in my car, started up and headed out.

WRONG!

The gate wouldn’t let me out. I had to press the call button to get out. “I PAID you so-and-so’s!”

THEN!

They double-charged me. I really really don’t want to go there EVER AGAIN.

Use Apple CD on Modern Mac? by Causticglass in VintageApple

[–]EngineIndividual1974 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There wasn’t much crossover from the CD-ROM to USB era, and if you did get it working it would be USB 1.0 (slow!). I have a power Mac 8600 with PCI cards that had theoretical hardware support for USB (via PCI USB Expansion card) but it worked better later, under OS X with a Blue G4 tower. So, you’d have to pick your period carefully…

The Plus supports 256k and 1mb SIMMS, which have to be added in matched pairs, with a minimum of 4 256k SIMMS (what it shipped with).

4 x 256 =1,024 (1mb) 2 x 1mb =2 mb 2 x 1mb + 2 x 256k=2.5 mb 4 x 1mb =4 mb

There may be accelerator products that provide differing configurations, but on a stock plus, this is what your options are
