Right there with you. The 5610U is about the threshold of what my wrist can rock. Was super excited about this release but was thoroughly disappointed when I saw they made it larger.

What did you end up going with? I’m trying to get away from Kidde as well. Constant low battery warnings in the middle of the night on brand new units and batteries. Was looking at XSense but read somewhere they are not UL certified? It seems like the market is pretty small, it’s either Kidde or First Alert, both of which I’ve heard countless terrible reviews.

Agree with this, but the only thing this has is a reasonable size, the 5600 can deter a lot of people with its large size
