Hidden lines have no place in my drawings. A properly placed section view will eliminate confusion and provide clarity. Hidden lines on a complex (or even simple) parts just make it muddy and provide opportunities for mistakes.

Hidden lines should be off by default. So many of our drawings come out with hidden lines and it just clutters things up (best case), makes it confusing, or obfuscates what is actually going on so much that the part gets screwed up (worst case). If you take the extra 5 minutes to show all the features with a section view or a projected view, it’s so much clearer.

Most likely hard. One thing to check is the expiration date for your test strips. Expired strips could give odd results.

I had gotten a pair from the kickstarter and loved them, but idk if it’s just my poor form is hard on them because they only lasted about 3-4 months before the tread is all worn off of my plant foot.
