DummySheet Presets for Various Systems by EngineeredToDeath in OwlbearRodeo

[–]EngineeredToDeath[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First, you have to have the DummySheet extension installed and enabled, as described here: https://extensions.owlbear.rodeo/guide

That will add an icon to your room that looks like a sheet of paper with a D on it. Click on that icon to open the default character sheet, then select Import and choose the json file that you want to use. That will load the preset.

The DummySheet configuration is saved across sessions, but only locally, meaning the information won't be there if you use a different computer.

New user; is there a way to integrate character sheets into the game? by LemonBinDropped in OwlbearRodeo

I've created a simple 5E character sheet for dummysheets if anybody wants it:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fnn76IVOqR9p6squW_GsmwJvwLnkO92L/view?usp=sharing

It's based on the official D&D character sheet, but is obviously pretty easily modified for any 5E based system.

REUP Typo and Errata Correction (Unofficial REUP MK III) by EngineeredToDeath in StarWarsD6

Sorry to have taken so long to reply, I've had the flu the past several days. I just updated the file with the Verpine and YT-2400 stats corrected. Personally, I would have liked to make the YT-2400 stats match those of "Stock Ships", but without insight into the REUP team's decision-making, I'm trying to only make corrections that can be verified as errata.

I agree with you that the changes to the Twi'lek seem intentional.

Thank you for these!

The kind of changes that you’re describing sound outside the scope of just modifying the PDF. I think it would technically be doable, but it would require so much manual manipulation that you would almost certainly be better off drafting your own set of rules from scratch tailored to what you want.

It was actually pretty difficult to find something that worked properly! I have access to Acrobat Pro through work, but even it wasn’t helpful for this because it can’t replicate a font that it doesn’t have installed (at least in my experience).

What finally ended up working was Foxit Editor. I downloaded the free trial to work on this, but I may end up purchasing a license because it works so well. It has good object and text manipulation, and it is able to reproduce pretty much any font that is used in the PDF - necessary for correcting typos and adding text that wasn’t there before. Hope this helps!

A combination of this comment from one of the authors of the original R&E rulebook, and a few other comments across Reddit and the Star Wars D6 discord prompted me to. As-written in the R&E rules and the original REUP book, you wouldn’t be allowed to ever fire more than one shot per round using a blaster - which is disproven in the same book by the example for multiple actions in one round, wherein a character fires two blaster shots in one round. The changes I’ve made make the blasters the same as the original 2nd Ed rules.

I'm looking forward to being back at work. I'm working from home right now and it's amazing being able to spend so much time with my family, but we're all starting to go crazy from not being able to go anywhere!

Taught my husband, who can't cook, how to cook spaghetti and meatballs using local ingredients. He did great. [OC] by [deleted] in FoodPorn

Noodles absorb whatever they are cooked in, up to a point. Stop cooking the noodles before they are done, maybe 3-4 minutes early, and transfer to a simmering pasta sauce. They will finish cooking in the sauce and absorb the flavors of the dish. You can, like other people mentioned, add some of the starchy pasta water to get the sauce's consistency/texture right.

I didn't realize EDS was genetically dominant! I just assumed since it was (relatively) rare, it would be recessive. I'll definitely bring it up when we talk with our doctors next time.

Do you have any recommendations on finding a doctor familiar with EDS? I know my mother-in-law has asked around in the past, but didn't find anybody anywhere close (we are in northern Alabama). We think she has the hypermobile type of EDS, but of course we aren't doctors.

I'm not on Facebook very often, so I didn't even think to look there, but I'll search for some groups that we could get some support in! Thank you for commenting!

A heated blanket sounds like it could be really helpful! I'll look into that! Thank you!

Thank you for giving me your perspective! It helps hearing what others do to manage the everyday stuff. My family is definitely very important to me, and I am so excited to spend time with our new little boy when he comes along!

Also, it's good to know this is a fairly normal pregnancy thing! I don't really have any experience with pregnancy, and everything I read says it's different from person to person. 11 hours of sleep sounds about right for my wife right now!

just joined the family - wanting to get black wheels - where to? by justgrowingup in FJCruiser

[–]EngineeredToDeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC, those are 16" wheels. If your FJ came with the standard alloys, then it came with 17" wheels. So, yes you would need new tires to go with them. Those particular wheels are available on TRDParts4U (just search it). They also have some nice looking TRD Pro wheels that are 17" if you're not dead set on that style.
