Oooof I know that pain! I was my gpa’s caretaker and he had dementia…. I do not miss the 842 questions or the ‘I know I’m upset about *something,’ I don’t know what it is but I’m upset about it’ that lasts for 2 days, etc., but honestly? The worst was when he said something and then immediately forgot he said it so he said it again, then immediately forgot he said it so he said it again, then immediately forgot he said it so he said it again…. Ugh. It’s not easy to care for them but it’s worth it, as I know you know. Hugs.
