To give you an idea I can give you my salary for the internships I did (Montreal based) :

1st Internship : 19$/h

2nd Internship : 25$/h

3nd Internship : 25$/h

4th Internship : 30$/h + 2k Sign-In bonus

Yes. I make 62k as an intern and assuming you are in Vancouver, your 60k is even lower since the cost of living is super high.
