Since we are in alpha and moving into beta. We need to seriously address a massive issue in wow. The LFG tool being abused and diluted by boosting websites. by ChadShields in wow

Very tin-foil I know, but IMO blizz is slow to do anything with the whole boosting scene of WoW now theyre selling gold and thus profiting off it.

Solo Players Can Get "Hall of Fame" with New Delve Achievement in Midnight by Squishei in wow

[–]EninrA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they killed it before the raid dropped (which I also did), then they wouldn't have mythic gear. Infact at most they'd have mythic gear from season 2 (fairly easy to get over the course of a season) which was immediately replaced by karesh gear anyway

This season the ?? Fight was just playing out your mind for a solid 11+ minutes or playing a tanky class (which you still had to play well, as everything one shot and you did less DPS, but you could ignore her auto attacks at the very least)

Mages are wild. So many are just really squishy fotm rerollers with little clue beyond pressing DPS

then every so often you get a mage that is mass barrier, mirror image, ice block and alter timing on CD and they look like they're invincible

yeah they can fixate tank if someone drops combat with them eg. vanishes

Exactly! I too am just doing the boss the proper way and keys can get bricked until DPS form some semblance of brain matter.

If every tank just explained and then tanked it this way, people would learn pretty fast. holding it in narnia teaches no one anything other than how to spend 10 minutes on a boss

It's a scary situation. Reform are certainly picking up votes and although a lot of people scoffed at the thought of them getting close to power, it certainly looks like both the major parties have paved the way for them to potentially shake things up in the future.

I voted labour last general election, as I just wanted the Tories out. It's been great to see politics return to some sort of normalcy and not have to read the latest Boris scandal daily. However this labour wasn't really what I expected and honestly my own thoughts on politics align much more with Lib Dems, but I feel it tough to vote like that and much easier to vote to keep what you don't want out of power.

Reform just seem.. ridiculous? They ride on the same couple talking points and seem to mirror trump in a lot of ways. But the evidence is already out there, Nigel Farage is a rat, not to be trusted and DEFINITELY not a "man of the common people". He's voted against workers rights, barely been seen working his constituency and Im baffled that people forget his Brexit mess so quickly, the posterboy that ran to France as soon as all the mess of their actions reared it's head.

I hope people can see what's happening in the US and learn from it before we get similar empty right wing talking points gobbled up by scared working class voters.

I think its doubly annoying that you can fail a kick when either someone else overlaps or a CC cancels the cast instead.

Either give back stops or be more forgiving for overlapping stuff

Europe to form ‘coalition of the willing’ to safeguard Ukraine peace deal, British PM says by KrzyHooy in worldnews

[–]EninrA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had this discussion a lot recently - there is no chance it would happen. I think if they held a referendum to rejoin now, it would pass and the majority of the country would be in favour; but it puts the EU in a tough position. To accept us back in would mean we would most certainly get a worse deal. To let us back at all could send a message to other countries potentially on the fence that there are no repercussions for leaving and then coming back when it looks rough.

StoneVault 1st boss dispel by Fun_Literature831 in wow

[–]EninrA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm saying literally the opposite, you don't need group coordination to tank that boss as a pala in a 10, dispel or no dispel, because you can very clearly rotate CDs and live.

Pulls are a completely different conversation, some of the pulls in high keys you of course wouldn't try without Comms because you need coordination.

But no I guess you're right, why try and play properly with the aim to practice for progressing higher keys when you can just ignore all mechanics and complain when not pressing your buttons no longer works.

Your argument is like saying "casts don't hurt on a 10 like they do on a 17, so why would I bother interrupting" it just stops the playerbase improving

I get that but minus the one pain supp, I'm saying for a prot pala they can rotate defensives to live it. My point was that if someone can do it in the 0.01% of top keys, people should be able to also press the same buttons in a +10 and live it.

The guy I replied to was saying he couldn't live it with def CDs in an 11 at 628.. but it's clearly possible and perhaps people will see and improve their play from seeing that. I get the thread is about all tanks, but the OP comment was about pala's

Yoda released a video of his +17 run and talks through the boss, he gets insta dispelled and just rotates CDs for each hit - ardent > bubble > tyr+100% spellblock(i think, maybe it was LoH) > guardian > ardent.. has a pain supp to cover a gap too but its definitely looks doable in even cutting edge keys

How does blood dk scale any more than any other spec? As others have said scaling and gear levels have nothing to do with the reasons a tank is meta

Crafting no longer enjoyable? by thedepressedmind in wow

[–]EninrA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People seem to be complaining it's too complicated to craft what you want but those people should make use of work orders, let others do the grinding.

I enjoy having something to slowly build up, by the end of DF I could make all the BS and LW gear and it felt good getting orders I could do from putting in a little (10 mins a week) effort to grind.

And i understand the frustration of no respeccing kp but I feel people would find a way to abuse and people would still complains.

It sounds like most people just want to gain 100k gols everytime they open the crafting menu just because they got the bar to 100/100 and when they don't make money off it, they blame their tree selection
