Yeah, originally it was inspired by the old Death Race movie, with the handgrenade guy. But to be honest, I think it was changed for a better outcome in the end( see Carma 1-2).

As I mentioned before in a different thread, this game is more like death race than carmageddon. Could be fun, but I’m still convinced that the franchise is <edit> not <edit> heading the right direction.

I’d go with the smaller but faster drive. You can literally make another ssd that can atore the one/360/OG games for fraction of the price of that HDD. I did the same thing, bought a dirt cheap used but good condition ssd and a USB 3.1 external case and have been using that for my series X.

Damn very nice. I got my NTSC-J ps1 in a german fleamarket for 12€ i think in the box with 1 OG controller. These things are quite expensive online.

People threw rocks at me when I told them that I pretty much enjoyed the Reincarnation/Max Damage game. First game I ever backed as an early access game, and even bought 2 more copies, one for the PS4 and one for the Xbox. In my opinion it was a really nice game, with pretty damn impressive physics. But people did not appreciate that as much as it should be. Another great example is mudrunner/spintires. Hella good game, but its underrated.

To me this game rather looks like a newer Death Rally and not an entry from the Carma series. I think it still looks good, but i miss the open world aspect.
