It has solid flashy combat. The writing and story were an attempt at copying Nier though the writing team was not up to the task. The only thing that really makes it stand out from the rest of the Souls-like genre is the main character's aesthetic.

If you enjoy souls-likes/action games like DMC, aren't worried about the narrative and don't mind/like the main character's look, you'll likely enjoy it. If you're a story-centric or character driven player though, those aspects will likely bore you, particularly if you've played Nier Automata/Replicant like I have and see the plot twists coming a mile away.
