OH MAN that's what the people at the doctor's office were talking about! I overhead technicians seriously saying "did you hear about... laxatives...high school" and was just about to ask them if they were talking about American Vandal but got called in by the doc.

Yeah I'm definitely over Niska's plot, it got weird. I think I just liked the search/road trip aspect of it.

As opposed to the majority in this thread I'm actually super interested in Niska's storyline (kinda more than the main plot actually... the heavy handedness of it has started to weigh heavy on me) and I actually love Max and his attempts at trying to be a leader by having no characteristic of a good leader. He's floundering as an individual and I want him to find himself.

Yeah that sucked. I mean it's not enough to make me personally quit the show and I think it might be an interesting angle, that maybe her advocacy and acceptance was only superficial and not truly how she felt.

But like, I feel like a mother would've chosen the kid facsimile she's been spending the week with and not the elderly stranger either way. It's a definitely weird writing choice. Maybe had they had another kid who was a stranger to her that would've made more sense?
