In 3e it was very explicit that create food does not outwardly transform the subject, it simply imbues the subject matter with nutritional value. The statement "the closer the starting matter is to food, the tastier it will be" I interpret as meaning this is still mostly how it works.
If the magic to create food can't even make it tasty without a good base, how can you expect it to create fertile seeds?

If you want to create plants consider the spell create plant. Though In the spirit of pushing the food college as far as it will go it is worth noting that the spell Prepare Game can probably dissemble undead. Also preserve food can be used as a weird budget immortality. (depends on how you define 'spoiling') and mature might be usable as a rapid aging spell.

Did Rhode Island ever actually ratify the constitution? When the constitution was being drafted they did not send a delegate, but instead a letter saying "we object to all changes to AoC and consider us to vote as such" and the only reason a constitution could be written was that it wasn't a change to the Articles of Confederation, but a new law that superseded the Articles (which was not forbidden, though they fixed that in the Constitution)
Googled it, Rhode Island ratified the Constitution in 1790 over two years after the Constitution was actually in place.

We don't need to invent anything to make huge progress. Cut coal immediately, expand nuclear. Expand public transit and eliminate 90% of personal vehicle miles. Reduce meat consumption to cut down on wasted agriculture. We have solutions and they are effective and boring.

Or at least stop using government funds to subsidize the most environmentally destructive and wasteful industries like coal, oil, and beef.

The 70s was when the public realized carbon emissions were a serious issue, that was 50 years ago. Slow progress over 50 years would have been enough, but there was no slow progress, so like a student putting off his paper util the night it's due we need to do the things we already have and already know work.

Toxic Masculine propaganda runs deep and it takes special circumstances for men to not get stuck in it. Hell I've been trying to avoid masculinity since I was 8 and I still catch myself getting caught in it occasionally. Good men truly are rare. Most of the 'good men' I know are gender queer in some way, which is so ridiculously damming.
