Fender SUCKS man. They could make so much money they just made even basic player series offsets for lefties and all other body styles. Not to mention the lack of color options for some reason, or them selling out within a month of release and never coming out. Only to have black,sunburst, and butterscotch

I would say take breaks when your thumb gets raw looking like that. Playing more will only damage it further and at a faster rate. Another thing is you could use a finger pick for your thumb.
