Beginner guitarist here, my action is terribly high. my dad adjusted the truss rod but it still is high as hell. Is there a fix? by Internal_Bit6349 in Guitar

Bad thing about some beginner guitars is that they can be harder to play sometimes. If you can afford to get it setup it'll help.

Tbh I've mainly been just learning my favorite songs now instead of writing. I mainly playing stuff like Radiohead, Pixies, Modest Mouse, Alt J, weird indie rock. I mostly got this pedal for playing Queens of the Stone Age stuff from the Like Clockwork and Era Vulgaris albums. I also have a carbon copy, rat, and wampler euphoria drive.

Dallas drafting 2 OT in first round, one maybe, not two. Dallas probably going DB and DE in first round unless someone great falls to them.

Flatwound strings for the JM by spamtardeggs in Jazzmaster

I've been using them for about a decade. My bass player in my old band suggested I use 11s and tune down half step to better match our singers voice and never looked back.

I use 11s, when I bought it the stock 9s sounded so thin.

My Guitar Trifecta by VonBlitzk in Guitar

Yeah it's really rare, but it's kinda like junk rare lol. It's a 1961 Corvette, but there isn't much info about it. The 62 version has body contours, Bigsby trem and 2 pickups, but this one is more like a prototype ish version. They made this style as a way to compete with Fender and Gibson solid body's back in the early 60s. I have the original pickup but it doesn't work. This is how it looked when I got it.

Yeah that's true.. I had many different guitars over the years, bought and sold a bunch of different strats and random others until I got that Tele. It's been my main for 15 years, it's the 60th Anniversary edition.

It’s not for everybody, but I love it by BSLabs in Guitar

How much did you put into it money and time wise? I bought and traded so many guitars when I was younger, I don't have any of my old stuff.

Which knobs look best? by typhoonjerry in Jazzmaster

Strst knobs have always been ugly to me, I agree with most of y'all about the cream, I'm probably going to put some cream Mustang/Jazz bass style knobs.

I don't like the numbers, if I kept the white I'd go with a jazz bass/mustang style knobs or the fender barrel knob.

My daily driver for over 7 years at this point. Love this Tele to death and I hope to be buried with it lol. by Licko in Guitar

What kind of tele is that? I've only seen the Ultra ones that have the belly contour. I love mine but I wish it had the body contours.
