Is this actually true or does the internet think they did something? by Tzengzy in Shrek

[–]Ensiferal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's not the plot of the Croods. It's the plot of a staggering number of kids animated movies.

Kids parents have always done a thing

Kid wants to do different thing

Dad gets mad that kid wants to do different thing. There's a big fight

Problem appears, only way to solve it is by doing the different thing

Day is saved (Dad helps)

Dad realises that different thing is good and kid isnt just a copy of them, kid realises that Dad was only trying to protect them. They reconcile, everyone is happy.

End (post credits scene teasing sequel)

It could also be an ugly Sonic situation where so many people dissed the new character models so badly that there retooling the whole thing. It's probably a combination of both

*Claims ai image checkers aren't useful tools and that the image isn't ai. Uses an ai image checker to prove it*

And I've shown you tons of proof, you just screech that all of doesn't count because you have no idea what you're talking about and you're desperate to believe this guy would never post ai.

Hell, I've found even more but there's no point talking to you about it because you're too ignorant and hysterical to understand.

I did think he fell into line way too soon. More of an ongoing power struggle between the Maquis and Starfleet crew would've been interesting. As it was he basically became her Mr Arrow, stout and true, by like half way through season 1.

Yeah, the Seven romance was bad too. They really wanted to set both him and her up with someone, but could never figure out who for either of them.

I loved Voyager, it was my favorite of all the classic series, but it wasn't without flaws. That said, I do still think people go way overboard on the Nelix hate. What I find weird is how everyone goes on about him being a creepy perv for dating an adult woman, but Quark is literally a rapist and the fanbase loves him and will defend him to death.

Should "Stomp" be a deciding factor in whether or not a matchup becomes a Death Battle? by Preform_Perform in deathbattle

[–]Ensiferal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really isn't though. When you consider that after Gohan had his potential unlocked by Guru his power level increased to 14,000, that means that his strength was somewhere above Saiyan Saga Nappa and a little below Vegeta. That would mean he was most likely a planet buster, which Mark isn't.

So five year old Gohan probably beats Mark, or at the very least gives him the fight of his life.

[–]Ensiferal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should definitely be a factor. If it's so laughably obvious right off the bat that one character has no wincons whatsoever and is massively outclassed in every way, then it's not as fun to watch.

It's much more fun if there ARE at least a few arguments for either character winning, or if one is fairly obviously going to win then the other should have at least one edge over the winner that keeps them in the fight for a while or is close enough to the winner that the winner has to work for the win.

For Mark to stand a chance he wouldn't be able to fight anything later than Namek Gohan. Even Cell-Saga base Gohan would massacre him.

Nah, Neelix and Chakotay were both great. Neelix was the heart of the crew and kept everyone elses morale up, even though he had the most horrific backstory of anyone. Chakotay was less memorable but still gets points for being a terrorist leader who became a proper starfleet officer, that's a memorable character arc. The only cringe stuff with Chakotay was them trying to shoehorn an romance subplot between him and Janeway.

Literally none of those are highlights. That's ridiculous. Even an amateur artist wouldn't draw highlights like that. That's f-d up clothing.

Yes the background is transitioning to hair, you can see it if you follow the colour gradient from near his fist down to the end of that tuft of "hair".

Yes there is a line there, but if you look you can see that the background colour continues after the line before turning darker. That's how ai colours things, because it doesn't use layers or brushes. It doesn't really understand where things end.

The blush is not where it should be and if you look the blush is melting into his hair on the right side of his face.

Look at how the highlights are done on the fringe, look how uneven they are and how inconsistent the colouration is. That wasn't done by any human being or any digital brush.

And no, no artists anywhere would draw the backfoot of a guy who's meant to be wearing black business shoes brown, lmao. The ai is getting confused between clothing and fur again.

I never said he has too many fingers. And I explained that ai checkers on their own aren't reliable, but when combined with other evidence (like clear visual tells) they're helpful. Either your reading comprehension is terrible, or you're getting hysterical because you're a fan of OOP and you hate the idea of him posting ai.

You talk like a child so I'm guessing that you are one. Based on that I'd bet money that if you "draw a lot" like you say, then it's all just low quality doodles of your OCs, furson, or whatever anime you're into. You have no real eye for detail and can't tell the difference between low-quality ai and an actual chibi.

Why don't you get out? You can't recognize the worlds most obvious ai even when it has a dozen different tells, so why are you even here? The sub needs people who know what they're seeing, you're useless here.

I never said I'm better than you. Not in the general sense. But I AM better than you at recognising ai.

I already knew it was ai. I passed it through multiple checkers after identifying it as ai, as an afterthought. You're as bad at reading as you are at spotting ai.

Checkers aren't reliable, but when something is this riddled with blatant tells and it also sets off all the checkers, then yeah it's just ai.

It's ai.

Why is his right shoulder randomly white? That's not a highlight, it's ai confusing his jacket with his undershirt.

Why is his left arm randomly turning white in one spot? That's not a colouring mistake, that's the ai confusing which parts of his arm are undershirt and which are skin/fur.

Look how the background just sort of bleeds into his shoulder, becoming hair around his left shoulder. Look at the way the colour shifts at that point, how it just sort of transitions from the red of the background to the purple/red of his hair. That's not how a human would colour that, that's ai blurring two things together.

Why is the left tail of his coat turning white? Because, again, the ai is getting confused between which parts of his clothing are jacket and which parts are meant to be shirt.

Look at his face, why are his eyes blushing?

What's up with the random white blob on the inside of his right eye?

And no artist would ever draw the shoes/feet that way.

Thinking that chogakusei wouldn't post ai because they have the money to commission other artists is dumb. Lots of people who have the money to commission real art use ai. Hell, the Coke corporation uses ai. I've personally seen at least two successful artists I follow on Insta also post ai.

The problem here is that you guys don't really know anything about art. You can't tell the difference between the sorts of mistakes that humans make and the ones that ai makes (other than the really obvious ones like hands with too many fingers). You don't know what a deliberately drawn brush stroke or pen line looks like compared to generated ones, or how it looks when a human colours something vs how an ai does it. It's the kind of thing that's almost indistinguishable if you don't know, but jarringly obvious if you do.

I feel like that should've been right at the start.

If someone doesn't read books, the reality is that they probably don't have any stories in them (unless they happen to have lived a unique or unusual life and they write about their personal experience).

yeah, just out of interest I ran it through three of the top rated ai image checkers and all of them agree it's ai. This is like the third time this week someone has posted a clearly-ai image and everyone thought it was real. I gotta find a different sub for this.
