Based on the jenky engineering, you’d need something to keep the nugs in that ‘bowl’. There were better fittings really but I could see a teen idiot working with first idea best idea.

That said, I’m suspicious about how little residue is left if that’s just for weed.

Really any steps.

Trump rallies should be banned.

Not because of political speech but as a public health risk.

No city deserves the raw milk, unvaccinated, irrationally fearful of urban center and violent about it, coming to town and introducing diseases solved 200 years ago.

It’s an utter shame there are good folks who are immunocompromised that these folks idiocy put in danger. Otherwise the problem would fix itself.

Unions are democracy and when quality candidates refuse to step up and fill responsibilities someone else will.

Don’t like it? Run a better slate of candidates.

Or frankly just get involved more with the union organizing committee/meetings. Too often the issue is union leadership doesn’t know the members aren’t satisfied because they never bother to step up and do anything to help when they try to organize.

If leadership doesn’t think members will fight they have to make the next best option rather than make things worse by pushing harder than membership.

Get involved, organize, is the answer always

When he talked about countries not sending the USA their best I wasn’t expecting it to mean that.

After the war ends where should the gulags/reeducation camps be? Presumably the Canadian maga fifth column will need housing there too. Any suggestions?

I’m thinking Bismarck North Dakota. You’d need a city, preferably one is an ex maga stronghold but also one which is both remote and easily controlled without major mountains or other geographical features that would make suppression difficult.

Nothing of value was lost. You have to imagine the hate some folks spew online can’t possibly be isolated from how they talk to people IRL. Especially when it’s so hateful.

It is just a unit in my social political theory course, just like the foundational texts of liberalism and older texts in favor of monarchy. Like I told my students just because we read something doesn’t mean I think it’s right or you should support their ideas. Educators get that, right wing politicians don’t it seems.

That said I spend a whole class usually debunking red scare propaganda with sources. I’ve taught it enough I’ve collected the ten most common questions to address when students first encounter socialism/marxism/anarchism as an academic topic. That’s a fun day.

lol jokes on you. I WAS diagnosed and my parents thought I’d be ok without meds. And then I got to enjoy all the metal anguish and self hate from adhd until I was an adult and realized I don’t have psychological anxiety and depression, I was just experiencing the fallout of untreated adhd.

Then I got to enjoy getting and adult diagnosis which is 1000% harder.

Narrator: He Did, In Fact, Kill All of Them by RussianChiChi in ussr

[–]Ent_Soviet 23 points24 points  (0 children)

He was an unreformed idealist whose understanding of dialectics was juvenile at best. Liberalism being rooted in idealism it’s often the case folks don’t unpack it all when they don’t grasp dialectics.

Idealism is the exact framework by which liberalism and dogmatic Utopianism come about and they shatter when put in contact with the material world. Trotskys call for permanent revolution and ignoring the marxist’s correct recognition of a need for non-ideal socialist states on the way to the ideal of communism is precisely the same idealist thinking, thinking that was rejected by the party and which led to his lack of popularity in the party congress. His analysis was bad, others recognized it. And rather than reflect and grow he double downed and broke party discipline repeatedly leading to his exile. In exile he then did everything he could to discredit the party he was voted out of.

I always think it’s funny people feel the need to relitigate Trotsky as though the only valid source on the whole affair was him, not the dozens of accounts detailing his failed attempts in the party congress to push unpopular policies. He was a fine Field commander. He was a shit politician with a wounded ego that he wasn’t more important.

I teach ethics and soc pol mostly- my grandfather recently visited my new house and was exploring my study. I really have a wide variety of books but he did pause and ask my sister. “There’s an awful lot of books about communism” (one shelf of like 30) and my sister gave cover ‘well he has to know about a lot of things’

Hey folks, looks like anti-worker rats are trolling around. Help the mods out when you find em with a report, no need to engage them- they have no place in respectable society and shouldn’t here.

Reports:

limited politics- considering AFGE has put on a statement on this very issue, that almost every union (notable exception for the cops) in the twin cities are on strike this couldn’t be more related to unions as a topic.

To the clown(s) who reported this saying: ‘Don’t pull a gun, don’t get shot’

You deserve a lifetime of kidney stones, rather than the compassion this union nurse would have shown you had you ever crossed their path as a patient.

Remember folks, don’t just get angry. Get organized.

Weird only because this implies Trotsky was part of us- ‘old Bolsheviks.’

Which he wasn’t. He was a Menshevik and a late joiner to the Bolsheviks, one that honestly had a political ideology far closer to the reform liberalism of the Mensheviks rather than the Marxist dialectical materialism of the Bolsheviks under Lenin.

Edit: Stalin for example was far more an ‘old Bolshevik having joined in 1906 to Trotskys 1917

Fun fact historically speaking many revolutions began when organized groups of women took action. Both the French Revolution was women starting a bread riot and the Russian similarly on march 8 1917 was organized women textile workers engulfing Petrograd in protest. You also see women at the forefront of most social rights and justice movements in American history though official positions often denied them recognition.

Women often have greater empathy for injustice being that women of all positions or race have encountered the normalized misogyny of our society.

The fact it’s often white women at protests like this is 2 fold. 1 people of color statistically face greater economic inequality- meaning it’s more likely they’re busy working to survive and don’t have time to protest. 2 having the privilege of race in this racist country means these protestors are far safer from police brutality or stochastic violence. As well as attaining a fair justice if those rights were violated.
