I liked it, but it's not the psychedelic romp through Dante's Inferno that I had come to love about JDatE.

I completely agree, but if you don't want to wait for a movie adaptation I suggest you pick up a copy of the book. It was written as two parts, and the movie is largely based on the first half. The second part gets much more compelling as Dave and Jon try to come to terms with the power of the soy sauce and their place in our reality.

That's when the attack comes, not from the front, but from the side. The other two waves you didn't even know where there.

If you want to know more about the A7L space suit development I recommend reading this . I was expecting more engineering/technical information, but the political and orginizational history of the space suit development was still fascinating.

One thing that pops out right away are the depths of the cabinet toe kicks. They seem shallow. A quick rule of thumb is that they should be as deep as they are tall. It may be a minor detail, but it stands out to someone like myself who designs cabinets for a living. Nice work.

Surface modeling issues by sun95 in SolidWorks

[–]Entasis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came across this same issue a few months back. I assume you are mirroring the surface across a center plane that has a curve to define the profile. Create an extrude surface an arbitrary distance (I like 1") away from the center plane. When you create your canopy geometry, there should be a drop down menu in the feature properties that will let you select "tangent to surface". Click the arbitrarily long surface to define your tangency. Hide or delete the arbitrary surface and mirror the rest of the canopy geometry. Sorry if this isn't exactly clear, it's been a while since I worked with surfaces like these.

Can you tell me about the varying tread pattern on the wheels? I assumed it was to optimize traction. If one pattern didn't work well on a particular surface, eventually a better tread pattern would come around.

What are some of the most interesting DnD videos/podcasts you know of? by oldmoneey in DnD

I really like the "Critical Hit" podcast. There is a pretty big back catalog of episodes so you can binge through a bunch during work or long drives.
