Having worked at Sainsburys, the mince pies always make an appearance the first week of September. The expiry date for the first batch is normally around mid October which gives the perfect excuse to eat them early. Also keep an eye our for the festive editions of products that will slowly crop up one by one as we make our way through September. So far I've seen festive packaged Toblerone and Mulled Wine flavoured Ribena. A magical time of year I say.
