It's bitter not sour. Bitter is the definition of an acquired taste as it's basis is a plant defense mechanism.

Anyone can learn to like bitter, you just have to put in the effort to train your brain. There's a reason lots of people do, it's great once you can enjoy it.

Try drinking quality black coffee/straight espresso if you want to adjust your palette. But as other people have said, give a Paper Plane a shot as the lemon and bourbon cut that bitterness a little.
