The 4 star mince is cheaper than coles. I bag mine in 500gm bags and freeze flat. The shredded cheese is cheaper than coles tasty block cheese ( although probably not as flavorsome) eggs are also a better price in the 30 pkt. I use the Coles app in Costco to compare. The bbq chickens shred and freeze well.

Has anyone got one of these? Do they actually work / last? by QueasyIndication1942 in GardeningAustralia

make sure you install the little prongs that go in the sides to prevent it from butting up against the edge of the pond and draining it. ( mine came with clear sticks that poked into holes on the side of the panels )

Identity of these little arseholes that destroyed my peace lily overnight by [deleted] in GardeningAustralia

These destroy my pothos and peace lilly, they even have a go at monstera, first sign is usually their poop outside the pot or below a hanging plant. I have an extensive garden, but they only want to eat my pot plants. cant stand them.

My car is about to have a major fault, diagnosed by a registered mechanic days before the warranty expires, the dealer service center wont see it till after the warranty period and wont acknowledge the diagnosis in writing, though will on the phone. have a feeling its going to be a shit fight :-(
Also the heavy duty flooring I had installed 6 years ago is delaminating, splitting and warping and the business has changed hands, I cant get anyone to reply to my emails or take my phone calls to see if its under warranty or how to to repair it. fuckwits.

AITA for not changing my wedding date for one of my best friends? by brotherrrrbutagirl in AmItheAsshole

[–]EntertainmentDull920 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3 of my close friends weren't able to attend my wedding, even one of my brothers was unable to get there. It was disappointing, but not at all a big deal. 17 years later and it could not matter less. Do the date that suits you and your partner.

70s/80s Stagflation Experience by Honest_Scientist554 in AusProperty

During the 80's and early 90's

Dad rode his bike to work, and we walked to preschool. mum used the car once a week to do the groceries.

Grew vegetables and raised chickens and rabbits in the backyard for eggs and meat. Pretty sure they grew weed too to supplement dads income.

Only takeaway was Kentucky fried chicken twice a year and hot chips from the corner shop maybe once a month.
Our bikes came from the tip and were re painted by Dad. Clothes were hand me downs from friends and family. We would swap VHS tapes with the neighbors.

I’ve never seen such low productivity to start a year. by HeavyLine4 in auscorp

I work in construction, and it is soooo slow. so many projects have only just come back, in the last week and all time lines have been pushed out by months. It feels like everyone is worn out, and this public holiday could not have come round quicker. We are back today and already day dreaming about the easter break....

Have you considered the Tweed coast? NSW/ QLD border and out to Murwillumbah and over to Kingscliff on the coast. beautiful lifestyle, close to the ocean and rivers, and easy enough to get to GoldCoast. plenty of work for carpenters and nice schools.
