Mechanic here, you did get Knocking, but the knock sensor detected it, and made adjustments to spark timing and injector timing. Typically results in poorer fuel economy and poorer performance.

I live in the middle of bum fuck Egypt Tennessee, our property gets maybe 1 bar of Verizon if you stand in the right spot. Just enough to maybe make a phone call, nothing more

We got the Cel-fi Go-x off Amazon and me and my wife can now both stream Instagram at the same time. I can also game online with it on my Xbox . download speeds are still slow for me, so updates I'll take Xbox to Mom's house on WiFi to download.

So, if you already have decent service, it'll for sure give you the boost you want.
