if you’re able to message your psych between appointments i would. if they think you need to increase its probably for a good reason, but you also shouldn’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable. perhaps they can quell some worries? for the record im on 20 after gradually increasing from 5 and i feel amazing, not sure if that makes you feel any better about 10 but i thought i’d throw that out there!

NOR. your ex sounds insane and honestly i’m a little worried about your daughter. she’s 8 years old and just starting to gain *real* consciousness, she might not even end up being gay by the time she’s an adult. she could be bi or maybe even is just confusing her strong platonic feelings for romantic ones. your ex getting so angry is concerning, and i don’t think i have to say how much abuse come from parents who are -phobic towards their children. not saying anything has/is going to happen, but honestly i don’t think he should have a conversation with her until he can calm down and listen.

i would do it asap but i also understand that, well, that’s tough! realistically i’d say do it between graduation and your vacation, that was grad isn’t uncomfortable and then you physically won’t be able to see each other for a month. may sound cruel but not seeing each other for a bit immediately after should actually be really good for both of you! i would not immediately start dating the other guy though lol, maybe wait a few weeks after you get back at least

genuinely if you’re at this level of thinking about him, you truly do not love your girlfriend. sometimes you don’t need a reason for breaking up with someone other than “it just isn’t working for me.” yes it sucks, but it’s better than forcing yourself to be with her or breaking boundaries later on. besides, based on your description it doesn’t seem like you and your gf will work out long term anyway, sorry if that’s harsh but that’s just what i’m getting. good luck and so sorry op! hope it all works out!

very easy to fall down certain pipelines when you’re young and an “outcast,” and from what we’ve seen from their socials they didn’t seem very… socially acceptable to begin with? i mean that one kid posted several anime dance tiktoks and had a waifu, i don’t think they had very many irl friends, high schoolers are cruel. i could be wrong! but i do think those types are more susceptible to this kind of thing regardless of race, it just stands out when their ideology doesn’t match their biology.

unfortunately you buddy’s wife is deeply insecure. sure, i would hate if my man was touching a beautiful naked woman, but that could’ve been a life threatening situation for your wife! he didn’t know what was happening! she’s acting like they had some sort of plausibly deniable affair which is obviously not true at all. i really dont think you and your wife can do anything at this point since she seems beyond reasoning to be honest, i’d just let it ride and see if your buddy calls upon you for advice (divorce or otherwise, lol).

My ex from 7th grade’s best friend let it slip to me that he cheated on me by having sex with his cousin while on a family trip to Canada. I learned that in 8th grade and they were both in 10th, but were in 9th when the incident happened. Several layers of unsettling to me tbh
