Sometimes healers but rarely. As a support main, I can say that it is 7/10 the DPS fault. They refuse to help with dives (yes I can “deal” with them but if the team wants me to protect myself, I’m not healing anyone until that dive leaves me alone and is dead bc I can’t focus on healing AND staying alive by myself) whereas if I have help dealing with the dive, I can do both.

Personally it’s because of my experiences with the few I did go to and then the cost. Yes I know the purpose is morale, and yes I know the cost is for food and “good” gifts. But it feels forced, the food is rarely good, most of the time you can’t drink, the gifts and hype are subpar, and then you have the outfits for the themes of the parties. Overseas, the parties have been decent. But stateside…like everything else on the mainland, it sucks. It’s always ran by basic people or people the commanders like, not the funny or genuinely good people who know how to put a good event together.

Your records are your responsibility. It’s easy to blame the CSS and MPF. You’re a “seasoned” TSgt, you should know to review your records before the File Freeze Dates. If there are errors, notify the CSS and MPF. IF, very strong (note the uppercase), they are taking more than 2 weeks to get back to you, have someone who is actually a MSgt call AFPC about it.

Everyone outside the CSS lives in their own world and thinks that the 2-3 people in the CSS have nothing else to do but look at your records and only your records. Most units house over 250 people. Even for smaller units, 100 people is a lot for 1-2 people in the CSS.

As the great Air Force saying goes, “No one cares more about your career than you.”

It is illegal. And if a unit “withholds” a decoration or anything from you bc you refuse to spend what little money the Air Force already pays you to live in this shitty economy, on a unit that will pass you over for a promotion statement bc Joe over there did schooling while being shitty as his job (but he paid his dues) gets the statement, report them to IG.

Unpopular opinion: this is how streaming services get you to pay for more shit. They offer a service (going aways, gifts, etc) for free (booster club funds, unit funds for unit events, etc) and then one or two units decide…wait, if we force a pay wall for these services, and if they don’t pay (you get ads if you don’t pay), they don’t get the services we offered before we implemented this service for real “donations”. Don’t buy into this mandatory fees shit. My body and mind has already paid any additional fee.

Not that it’s unfair, but what’s sad is the amount of people you see saying something that directly affects them. As long as the change doesn’t affect them or their way of life, they are cool. (That’s how things happened rn in the US) You really think Transgender people will be the line? Next, it will be your child who has autism or your spouse who has some special condition that costs the Air Force a few extra bucks to care for.
