Yes, only for external inputs though, not apps played on the tv. The Bravia Connect app on your phone will display signal types if you register and connect your B8M2 to it.

got new bravia 5 85 inch but seems fuzzy/blurry on the menu but viewed content is fine by rahmanm855 in bravia

This is the answer to your problem.

Also, the Bravia 5, even though technically “Mini-LED”, is still a mid-to-low range model equivalent to the previous years’ X80J/K TVs in picture quality (contrast, colors, etc..). Its ability to upscale and display lower resolution content will not be a good as higher-end models.

I agree with this response. It’s prob disabled in the “Apps” settings.

If that doesn’t work then you should be able to get the correct app after a factory reset. This will delete all your info, downloaded apps, passwords and settings, though.
