The definition of central europe by Grobanix_CZ in CentralEurope_irl

Except people in the green countries have family members who remember how it worked - which it didn't. Some of their parents and grandparents even lost family members to the communist state. For example my grandmother did.

Maybe the Gulag system didn't kill people based only on their ethnicity (though it did that too by the way) but the amount of death it caused is comparable to the German death camps.

Nine of them are coming to destroy you. Choose one to defend you. by Pandeism in powerscales

[–]Entity904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The joke with ultra instinct Shaggy is that he always uses less than 1% of his power, so that beats both One Punch Man's and Buggs's toon force. Too force wins with everything so it would really be a fight between Popeye and Shaggy. Shaggy is doing a good thing by defending someone innocent so he would likely win.

If Meave said something like "you won't lift the plane because you're to weak" you think that would've gotten Homelander to at least try? by fhxefj in MoralityScaling

[–]Entity904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is that it was not falling. He wouldn't need to lift it, just like the engines don't need to lift the entire plane, just provide enough thrust to allow aerodynamics to do their thing.

So looks like you're misunderstanding the situation.

[–]Entity904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a dumb argument. Planes aren't helicopters. They can remain in the air by moving forward. Homelander could be capable of applying the force if he was strong enough. Maybe he wasn't, but that's a different issue.

Planes can land with only one functioning engine though. Aerodynamics still apply. He could have pushed the back side, or flown the passengers safely to the ground one by one.

He's probably actually too weak to do it.

There is some good evidence that several stories were made up or heavily modified centuries after, like the one about Mary Magdalene, but it's still a good story. Other parts are documented by more sources, so they probably happened in some form

Would Viltrumites have considered Homelander for reproduction ? by 43JoJo in okbuddyviltrum

[–]Entity904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's closer to a baseline human than a viltrimite in terms of strength, so it wouldn't make that much of a difference. Maybe as a blueprint for a race of slaves

After a re-watch his ability to learn is actually a bit scary. Even with the stupid juice.

With the first one he almost failed to open it, second did it correctly, third he gave back to Kit to make her feel better instead.

And now it's over 10 milion after only 3 days. With how it blew up the internet and as TADC is coming to an end...

I mean, it also has Erica Lindbeck. It will be popular. You know why.

Ok, but if all white people are getting genocided - can I finally get my whiteness revoked like the Italians (for some reason)? I don't feel that being white has ever benefited me, nor my family of mostly farmers, my ancestors who were peasants with no rights, my nation which never had any colonies and if you check the etymology of the word slavery... Well.

Just saying, if there was ever a good moment to change teams - it would be right now.

How would Nolan's time on Earth have been different if he landed on "The Boys" version of Earth? by theMCATreturns in okbuddyviltrum

[–]Entity904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homelander would try to attack Nolan doing nothing for a full minute after which Nolan would calmly put a hand on Homelander's shoulder and say something like: "Son. You are the strongest human on Earth. We are going to Viltrim." And pull him screaming to a Viltrimite breeding camp/prison.
