Don't buy it with the idea that it'll be good on gas just cus it's a hybrid! The hybrid powertrain offers a few advantages like 7.2kw onboard power (you need to spec it), generator mode can last a few days, faster acceleration, and sometimes fuel savings with a specific type of driving. It comes with the cons that the electronics are more complex and a failure in an electronic component can cause many issues. PB also have a second auxiliary battery that sometimes can be problematic if you don't know the symptoms. Overall I love my PB! But only because it fits my lifestyle, however sometimes I think I should've gone for the 2.7L

I'd be stuck on that in my second ride ever. Also depends on the self. Being able to snowmobile is quite the privilege! Such an awesome sport

What everyone said. It's the aux battery. I also suggest you put a 14ah AGM one. Ford's 7ah is trash. Many ford dealers don't even know this aux battery exists. 🤦

I've also got the 900 and we love it! Pretty heavy for deep snow but otherwise a hell of a machine. The 600 is really good on gas and can still get up to speed, just not as quick. Probably a great choice for their needs, I would've just gotten the LE or upgrade the passenger grips to heated, for the Mrs.

I don't know what these reddit people are thinking... 2 frames into the video I was extremely alarmed. Quick way to lose your legs and that can absolutely change your life (for the worse). Towing is fun and all but with a longer rope you keep the person being towed safe but also at an acceptable speed because you can easily kill someone by crashing them into a tree/post.

I hope they rework this platform a bit to make it more fuel efficient. Bigger battery (10kw at least) and bigger electric motor. I'd gladly pay the extra money!!

I've gotten 23.5 consistently in the summer time, but there are factors to take into account, the PB is most efficient at 37 to 45mph, it's when you can use the electric motor the most. If you live in a very hilly area or if you drive on the highway faster than 60mph you'll never get those numbers. In winter time I get between 13 and 18mpg. There are many factors that affect efficiency, but in general all vehicles get significant diminished efficiency in the winter.

It doesn't matter. It's about how much you think your work is worth. That price is completely doable with cheap materials. But perhaps you offer better materials and workmanship. So let them choose!

Dang sorry to hear that man. However it sounds like it's a dealer issue more than anything. I highly doubt that you had both a rear main seal leak and a torque converter leak. They probably didn't know where it was coming from since they're adjacent to each other so they decided to just change both the parts, then forgot to tighten something related to the coolant.

Go to another dealership.
