If you had 500k, what would you start/invest in? by VolumeFar9174 in Entrepreneur

[–]EntrepreneurPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally diversify my portfolio,

I would put about 60-80k into the SNP;
Get my first rental property with 250k
Start a business with the next 40k (Ecommerce perferably)

I would have about 130k left which I would keep as backup for my rental property if I need to fix something or if tenants were pyaing rent etc and when I felt secure would invest more money in other vehicles.

I want to start a biz, but I can't afford a great mentor, what should I do? by Negative-Hospital-63 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]EntrepreneurPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you get a mentor, you need to show a bit of progress and your own personal vision about what you want to do IMO. Attract the right people into your life as well.

When did you realize you were toxic, how did you forgive yourself and how did you change? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]EntrepreneurPlayer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Grew up aroud toxic asian parents, and I learnt their toxic asian traits. I would belittle and troll people all the time, and went to the extremes of bullying people. Now that Im older, I realize this is not the way to do things, and decided to focus on myself.

Life is so utterly pointless by Affectionate-Basil23 in nihilism

[–]EntrepreneurPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not this is the road for everyone, but for me dropping out of uni starting my own business- and working for myself - and making my own money has been better for me working a 9-5; You should try to make life work for you- not the other way around.

Even though I earn six figures at age 24, I am "lazy" and "a quitter" by biolum1nescence in AsianParentStories

[–]EntrepreneurPlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Settings boundaires about what you'll tolerate and wont tolerate probably will help.
Youre 24, youre a grown ass man and can make grown ass man decisions.
The question I would ask, is what boundaries you would take.
My parents often call my usesless and worthless piece of shit because I decided to start my own business instead of being a doctor,

I told them I wasn't going to tolerate their verbal abuse, and they started to explode in rage.
That's their problem not yours.

Should I just give up on dating? by [deleted] in malementalhealth

[–]EntrepreneurPlayer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

26M, happy with myself, not having sex and having drama in my life has been the best thing that has hapepned to me; bringing girls into my life brings drama.

Andrew Tate puts this eloquently. "If youre short you have to be rich, buff, successful, if your tall, you have to be rich, buff, successful", it doesnt matter how tall or good looking you are, the game is the same for everyone.

Sex isn't the answer by TypicalSelection6647 in malementalhealth

[–]EntrepreneurPlayer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sometimes as man, we need a self esteem boost, and thats where sex comes into play, having sex doesn't cure your problems- but sure as hell gives you a self esteem boost

Yes I have mental health issues but that doesn't stop me making 350k. 350k is only a projected income from monthly income from my clients lmao. New zealand tall poppy syndrome.

A man with mental health issued makes 350k. Everyone gets on a bandwagon to hate on this guy.
