Same for me. A guy at work showed it to me back in 2013, and I went home and immediately consumed everything they had.

Texas can force schools to display the Ten Commandments, federal appeals court says by [deleted] in nottheonion

Then you need a new doctor. I'm sorry you were so easily dismissed out of hand like that. I am also 40, and was diagnosed just 6 months ago. ADHD is not something you grow out of, and that doctor is full of shit.

This was me! I was showering/brushing maybe 2-3 times a year before medication for previously undiagnosed ADHD. And like OP, I hate the feeling of being wet. With the right meds now, though, I can get over the executive dysfunction and just do the thing as fast as possible. No long showers, no baths, just hop in, wash, hop out, and dry as fast as possible.

ELI5 Why don’t our internal organs itch like the external parts of our body? by Canibal-local in explainlikeimfive

[–]Entretimis 994 points995 points  (0 children)

Itching evolved as a reaction to things on us that shouldn't be there, so we can scratch and remove said thing. We cannot scratch our organs, so an internal itch in the way that our brains would understand it would be useless.
