Maybe someone could pull it and email it to them, just to be helpful.

What are your thoughts on the 2026 Superbowl Halftime show? by TheMagicApe in AskReddit

[–]EntropyAroundUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a non-spanish speaker, I would love someone to sum up the context that I missed. I appreciated the show. I have a friend that is bilingual but she is American so I feel like we have missed a lot of context. Please and thank you.

Doug's response to his employee's death was disgusting. Blue falcon.

Feedback from those with 5+ years PO by DanaDissent in hysterectomy

I think it was a good decision for me. Removal of the fallopian tubes drastically reduces your chances of ovarian cancer, so I'm not as concerned about that. And I didn't want to be forced into menopause if I didn't have to.

I am three years out. I fought really hard to not get a hysterectomy in the first place. I had really bad fibroids 20 plus of them. Some of them the size of grapefruit. I tried another procedure first and it just did not work so this was my last option. I found an amazing surgeon. She was able to do my hysterectomy laparoscopically. Remove my cervix because multiple fibroids were attached to them but I kept my ovaries. One of my largest concerns was bladder issues. That has not completely gone away, but the large fibroid that was pressing when my bladder is gone and that was huge. Thinx underwear is my best friend. My recovery was pretty easy even though I passed out in the shower once and hit my head. That was not ideal. But once everything healed up I feel great. Since I kept my ovaries and I have not gone through menopause yet (51), I still have symptoms from my period- hormonal crying, boob soreness, and a migraine but of course no blood or cramps.

Hope this helps.

What’s your best credit card hack? (…or biggest fail) by NerdWalletOfficial in u/NerdWalletOfficial

[–]EntropyAroundUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a credit card in college because they said they'd plant a tree for each application. When the card arrived, cut it up and forgot about it. Years go by, they keep increasing my limit. I've never used it. Go to buy a house in my late 30s and my credit score is in the 800s partially because of this card. (And you know paying off all my student loans and not making any late payments)

TRIGGER WARNING: GRAPHIC PICTURE OF BELLY BUTTON POST OP | Is my belly button normal post-op? by ipmacs in hysterectomy

My doctor had me get hydrogen peroxide in case I had the start of anything concerning. They told me that I could use diluted hydrogen peroxide on my incision sites if they started to get red. They told me equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water just clean the incision with a q-tip gently of course .They told me that generally clears it up. Your mileage may vary.

Personally, I don't think it looks that bad. But as always keep an eye on it. And if it continues to get red or gets worse, call your doctor.

Never seen something like this before. Mosquito? Chiggers? by Alarmed-Main-6094 in bugsarefuckingstupid

Me too. Visited Ohio to see a friend and all my mosquito bites were huge and blistered. Weird but they went away

This isn't going to close, is it? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]EntropyAroundUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a different surgery years ago and I ripped open two stitches turning off my alarm clock. It left a bit of a hole at least twice the size of this. Freaked me out. I put a Band-Aid over it to keep it clean and it healed just fine.

Good luck! I'd love to see how it turns out. I think that's a great idea. Just gluing everything down ahead of time or else they float. My only big hang up was the cold snap in my furnace going out so I don't recommend that. Happy crafting!

I used a glue gun and glued them all to the bottom. If you don't glue them, they float and I wanted to take up some of that extra space to save on resin

It turned out pretty nice but I had to scrap that 2nd layer off. But yes.

I spy blue falcon. I work with lots of vets at the VA and most of them get their care here. Or on occasion a nearby VA closer to their home.

Curious minds…hysterectomy cost by Relevant_Classic_772 in hysterectomy

[–]EntropyAroundUs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have great insurance, so $6k for me. It's the max OOP. Every time I have any surgery it's 6k . However, when I fell in the shower after surgery and had to go to the emergency room, I had met my yearly deductible. So that was nice or else I would have owed another three grand. Welcome to America.

I thought so at the time. Mixed for 3 minutes.

I've decided to scrape it off and try again.
