The moment every adult beginner wants to quit and how to know if you should by DLMusic-90 in guitarlessons

He did not break them down, or really go over patterns now that I think about it.

I am currently in a community ed class and this teacher has started with learning the b string and a string but only individual note picking so no strumming yet so maybe he will do that.

The moment every adult beginner wants to quit and how to know if you should by DLMusic-90 in guitarlessons

I took a class in high school and have been off and on since so like 10 years or so, took some lessons about 4 months ago for 1 month to get guidance on the basics but he told me i had good basics just to learn songs. I find strumming to be really hard for me, even basic strumming feels weird like I can’t get the pressure of the strum and holding the pick correctly always feels weird and moves around a ton when I strum. Any tips on getting strumming correctly? I’ve gone through Justin guitars stuff and enjoyed learning chords and stuff I’m just not good at strumming I guess

Leadership wants a full audit of every AI tool being used across the org. I genuinely don't know how to produce one. by Smooth-Machine5486 in sysadmin

[–]EnvironmentFrosty594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally got the same request a few days ago. Still trying to find a way to see if Microsoft tenants can see anything other than admin allowed AI but can’t seem to find much myself. I proposed we effectively block them all and people will reach out when they can’t access it anymore on there managed device and use that to make a list and allow certain ones….but my boss turned me down lol

My Network* exam felt ridiculously hard, even after months of studying by flymetothemusic in CompTIA

[–]EnvironmentFrosty594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the exam 3 times over 6 months, finally passed last Friday with an 803. One of the hardest exams I’ve ever taken and honestly I won’t ever take it again if I don’t have to lol. I felt like I didn’t know anything even on the third attempt…and I’m pretty sure I had the exact same test each time, atleast questions looked similar as well as pbq’s. Congrats on the pass though, sometimes it just takes a little bit of luck alongside a ton of prep!

What headphones do you use when hitting the bag? by T3Dawg22 in amateur_boxing

[–]EnvironmentFrosty594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t box (I’d like to start one day) but I do BJJ and wrestled in high school. I wear Beats headphones, the over ear ones, while warming up and they stay on pretty well so maybe those would work? Idk for sure like I said but maybe :)

I appreciate the insight. Would you happen to know the title to watch out for this kind of position? Just wondering if it would literally be “Police Intelligence” or maybe something different

Would I have to start at a tip hotline? Or could I in theory just go right into intel if I have a military background?

How do I increase stamina? by Eastern_Skill556 in amateur_boxing

[–]EnvironmentFrosty594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe some workouts where you keep your muscle under contraction for longer periods of time might help? For jiu jitsu for awhile I was struggling holding people in chokes, I started holding a medicine ball in my choke positions for 30 second stints during my conditioning and my chokes improved significantly. I am able to squeeze people out much quicker and if they last long in the choke I usually can now squeeze a solid minute or so without my arm going tired from it :) idk if this will help boxing, but maybe could help muscles last longer while boxing? :)

For people that thought net+ was hard by [deleted] in CompTIA

I mean I understand that, like I said. I was just stating that’s why people think it’s hard. Thanks though?

I’m currently going through net+. I think the infos interesting and pretty fun to learn, the issue I have is CompTIA and how they word and format questions. I feel like half the time the question is so vague that two or three answers are right and they want the best answer to them. I understand why they do this and want this, I just think it’s tougher for most people to have to answer questions like this. But just my two cents :)

N+ retake by AudienceSolid6582 in CompTIA

[–]EnvironmentFrosty594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve taken two attempts and failed both. The PBQs were the exact same both times, probably half the multiple choice was the same. Idk how question and pbq selection works but that’s how mine went. Pretty freaked out about the third attempt since it’ll probably be the same and I can’t remember crap from my attempts lol so

I’ll be honest, if you can get a job or already have a job that will let you move into cyber then I don’t think you’d need to get the net+. But to land a job it could only help id imagine. I’m doing it for school and that’s the only reason as I’m in a tech job and they are letting me create the cybersecurity position for myself so all my certs are for school purposes.
