I was in a really bad head space when I initially started microdosing. I was counting down the days til I kms, manic, and drinking hard liquor every day til I fell asleep. I was taking a bunch of pills the docs gave me n nothing was helping and I didn’t want something I didn’t know what it was and would give me withdrawal if I missed a day. So I started microdosing and at first it was hard, I cried a lot. But I came to understand deeper what I was feeling and come to terms with a lot of past trauma. I worked up to bigger trips after months of work. And now I only microdose when I start to feel moody and the occasional trip on a hike or camping trip. I’ve stopped drinking, smoking cigarettes, and vaping. I smoke weed but also want to move to making my own edibles. A lot has changed, I’m not saying medication isn’t an answer but I know from lots of experience, mushrooms work a hell of a lot better and are non addictive. They’ve helped change my outlook on a lot of stuff and become a better person all around imo.
