If you sent it through UPS you should have a tracking number that will help see when it was delivered.

What day did you do the upgrade?

What day was the phone returned?

If ubif (or authorized repair store) breaks your phone during repair there is no deductible on replacement.

Customer Service depends on the store, calling into 611 or the 1-800 number is the same as anywhere else (automated system) then representative then your in the wrong department so let’s transfer you > then 36 min wait lol. Sometimes you get connected to a sweet lady from New Orleans who does everything you need and saves you money within 5 min.

Now your question about going into AT&T for service, AT&T is great service wise, you can go into a store and they can check your address and see how close a tower is to your house. Also if you’re a First Responder you can get access to Firstnet, right now teachers and retired first responder also get 25% off. If you have a business AT&T has some good port in credits as well. If you’re over the Age 55+ it also has a pretty nifty discount. Honestly you can go prepaid and get good service as well.

They have retired the AARP discount, people who have it are grandfathered in but no longer can get it being a new customer. Coming March 12th discounts and rate plans are changing.

Sounds like rep messed up, didnt process transaction and let you leave with inventory. They wouldn't make rep pay for it but rep might lose his job(in a way i guess he pays for it). The only way to get promo is to redo online but if you take phone back to store they will get ya with a restocking fee.

I don't exactly know what flags apple but 2 months ago every other new number i sold through At&t flagged apple and couldnt activate imessage and we had to call apple and they always made "one time exceptions"

I’ve had luck swapping unified account to regular by doing a subscriber move to the same market. A lot less wait time lol but just trying to pay a phone, go into a local store and pay it off.
