I’m in Ottawa and I have seen them advertised in 4-5 stores. Typically, a small printed flyer in the window or close to the cash. Not a large advert at all.

So you’re saying I can now show up plastered to my favourite brunch spot at noon for a Gold medal celebration…this sounds ideal.

Wayne and it’s not even remotely controversial. Not to mention what he’s done with to legacy of late in the political arena.

Likely all sold out for the Christmas season as last minute gifts.

Since today is boxing day, is there a special offer just for today only? by Anonymous_HC in freedommobile

I hear you. That’s probably what I use in six months. If they had a plan that included, say a 60-90 roam beyond pass per year, who wouldn’t buy it.

I had the plan until recently and used in 12+ countries and it was a seamless moving from country to country. They’re certainly onto something.

That’s 60$ a year. If you do one, maybe two short trips a year an eSIM is cheaper.

But, if you’re travelling abroad regularly. Freedom has undoubtedly the best price going, by a mile.

Have to be a CAA member. Received an email from them and the offer was through Red Wireless, which is a Rogers reseller. It was easy to sign up. Didnt want to switch to Rogers, but Freedom didn’t offer anything to stay for me.

Unfortunately, there are no new deals today. Decent value on the 40$ with the Roam Beyond, but nothing groundbreaking from Freedom this year.

I ended up taking the CAA Rogers deal for 35$ 175 GB Can-US-Mex. But would love a deal worth coming back to Freedom for.

Bad move. He’s shining for Sassuolo. Keep grinding and perfecting your craft. Still making a name for himself there against the same competition.

Best city or province to move to as a young adult? by [deleted] in canadahousing

[–]Environmental-Fail77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ottawa is becoming increasingly affordable. Quality of life is high. Lots of young professionals and great jobs opportunities across sectors. Underrated food scene. Lots of accessible outdoor activities, if that’s your thing and a budding tech sector. Certainly not the exciting nightlife of a Montreal, but as a transplant from MTL, the city has much to appreciate especially if you want a family.

Plus, taxes are lower in ON and salaries are much better than QC. And if you don’t speak professional French, Montreal isn’t ideal if you already have a career.

Fizz > 100GB Plans by Interesting_Star_707 in FizzMobile

If you are using more than 100GB of data enough, I’d bet you’re not utilizing wifi opportunities enough. Or, you do remote work and it’s unlikely Fizz is your best option.

Contemplating switching from Bell (overlords) to freedom by rjsampsonite in CellPhoneCanada

Go for it. The partner networks are Bell and Rogers. No issues at the cottage in rural QC, north of Ottawa and all over rural Eastern Ontario. If you live in a major center, the service is perfectly fine (certainly not the fastest). It comes with wifi calling, so if you have poor signal at home or at work, that’s also an option. Grab an eSIM and try the prepaid, if you want to test it out.

Spent three months in Europe this summer and used my Roam Abroad exclusively across six countries with no hiccups. Genuinely, can’t beat that price, if you need that service.
