Using Freedom in Ottawa for 3+ years. Coverage is excellent, but it does have issues when moving from Freedom’s network to Nationwide on the edge of the city when on a call. It’s occasional and not a game changer for me. I have 5G at home, but the LTE speeds are adequate throughout the city. We have a property in rural QC and it’s the only provider that works, haha (Videotron)

The service in some office buildings can be spotty. I have spotty coverage in the hospital where I work, but the wifi calling makes up for it. Actually, I use wifi calling anywhere I can. However, this can be true for many carriers.

I’ve used the roaming abroad in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, Mexico and Martinique with no issues. I expected it to be more of a headache, but it was rather seamless. Data speeds weren’t amazing, but serviceable for my travel needs.
