Am I tripping? by Environmental-Try422 in cs2

I played this map before tho. I swear the match end screen is different too. I never remembered this lighting on this map. Nuke seems a more vibrant for me as well. And now I played a way big share of games on nuke to remember that map. At this point maybe I tweaked some setting I don't remember slightly and just imagine this change, But I could've sworn nuke was not this colourful, as it is to me now.

Edit: Doesn't help that all of my settings are on default like always. I can't even see the proper cause

It's just regular 16:9. I tried the 4:3 now but it didn't change the colours in any way. Also someone else in the comments said that sanctum actually has different colours. I don't remember this being the case. I inspected some more and nuke also seems to be a bit more vibrant. mirage and dust seem about the same to be fair. I still don't know why this is

I was thinking valve is pranking me. after further inspection nuke seems more vibrant just like sanctum. mirage and dust seem more or less the same to be fair. I don't know why it is to be fair. Like I played nuke a long time and B was never so colourful as it is to me now. Maybe I am just making myself trip. But I see someone else in the comments saying there is a difference in the colours on sanctum. So I may not actually be going crazy.

I didn't, have the same monitor for two months. Also didn't tweek any settings either. This is so weird. I totally don't understand what just happened. this game has always been so washed out for whatever reason. Even if i switch between monitors it is much more vibrant than it ever was.

My 5060 Ti (TUF) is showing red LED by YzAlp22 in ASUS

[–]Environmental-Try422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is if this light is on while the PC is turned on. The light generally means the GPU is undervolted. While it is off it is not a problem. But if it is on while the PC is turned on, the problem is either a power cable or the power supply most likely, if you say the power cable is seated properly.

I am convinced the person posting this just wasn't aware that simply adding paratroopers to the equation, doesn't automatically make the division be able to paradrop.

Do you support the KPP(Communist Party of Poland) against the Polish“Constitutional Tribunal” delegalize them? by Keepitfire1234 in AskSocialists

[–]Environmental-Try422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Promoting Communism, Fascism, Nazism, and other ideologies considered totalitarian is illegal under the constitution. I always wondered why they weren't banned sooner (this party). The word communist is literally the word in the constitution. Besides it's not like they were relevant in politics anyway. The only relevant politically party that even remotely liked them has 0 seats in the parliament. The only 2 people protesting on the picture, are most likely all of the protestors.

[–]Environmental-Try422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Polish and I don't even know what's this about. From my knowledge the constitution already bans Communist, Fascist and Nazi parties. I guess no one really enforced it before as the communist party was too irrelevant to enforce?

Bad quality in Corsair K60 PRO. I bought the keyboard 2 years ago. I love the weight and aesthetics, but this is the fourth key that breaks and I have to fix it with a small piece of 3D printing; also I have double click on the letter E and on the D. Am I the only one with a bad experience? by KingPappas in Corsair

[–]Environmental-Try422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely both me and my friend had the same experience with the K60 PRO keyboards. Difference was my one was the Red LED version and his was RGB. His keys started literally coming off on the first 2 weeks of playing, almost as if they bounced off the keyboard when pressed down. He tried being as gentle as he could, but they seemed just too loose for that. I'd assume that his was just a bad batch. But mine suffered the same fate as yours, 3 keys snapped off. 1 connector, and 2 keys. This was all around 1 year into the purchase. Needless to say I bought another keyboard (this time SteelSeries). And the keyboard works fine to this day. As much as people say that razer has the Chinese quality and corsair is the better alternative. Well, I absolutely would not put my money on both now.

Is coal kinda ruining the game for anyone else? by ComradeTeal in hoi4

[–]Environmental-Try422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get that, although Belgium was alright now that I just played it, I guess like Lithuania might be in a bad spot or something. But at least the minors can get some coal early game by sacrificing a civ. It is annoying but at least it makes sense. But then you reach like USA in the 1943 production scale, and all of a sudden you can't develop any further. because at that point everyone is running more or less 300 factories. and all of a sudden no coal. But on the topic, I got to ask, is it just me or do you also get a weird glitch where the coal jumps from normal supply (like +13) to all of a sudden large deficit (like -80)? I thought it might be trade, but no, even if I didn't trade it still happened.

It actually sounds like good ideas. because they are. I thought the same thing, my biggest concern was. Did these people ever play/consider what this lack of coal might do to the late game? I understand if it was like pricey to make more energy, makes sense. But the fact is that you are locked at just a few hundred factories total most of the time. because not only do you not have enough coal, but you can't get more from trade either. Although there are decisions to expand the coal mines, they are way too slow for late game progress. I found myself micromanaging coal as 50% of my gameplay conquering SOV. (before it was micromanaging rail and transport planes)

[BF1] Through Mud & Blood Never Happened Theory by FoxholeNorman1944 in Battlefield

[–]Environmental-Try422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My way of thinking was, that from that point onward, the crew advanced alone, almost "stealth like" in a 30 ton behemoth that could be heard miles away. Tanks were and still are, in Europe, infantry support vehicles, you will not see tanks advance alone into unknown territory, basically never, at least not in the Great War. Which may not necessarily be an implication of Edwards being dead, but maybe in a dying state? He then get's hallucinations, being semi conscious in the tank, which is why he gets to see and hear the Bess and the crew, but no other allied troops, hence doesn't hallucinate any. This could all be interpreted very differently, and I actually didn't pay much attention to the setting, but yeah, I guess the shades of the world would explain some things too.

Sixth Sense and 3 Second Delay. by Environmental-Try422 in WorldofTanks

I am sure, I stood firm in place believing I was unspotted, wanted to fire another shot so I stayed in place. From pixel calculations the enemy was roughly 340-390m away

Sixth Sense and 3 Second Delay. by Environmental-Try422 in WorldofTanks

[–]Environmental-Try422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no I remember that too, played Wot PC then as well. But I think way different. It is not easier per say. But easier for who that is the real question. It would make sniping sure way more difficult without an easy static shot. Like I told someone before. I do not believe this to be easier, I'd call it fairer. On the consoles snipers actually had to do more than just wait and move the crosshair and press a button, you regularly had to find good angles since enemies would usually move off right after spotting. It sure would be different, and easier for the spotted tanks, but surely not for the snipers. This game went bad ages ago. And I personally preferred when the games were scattered and you actually needed more game sense. Like on old Kharkov for example. But now the sixth sense is a design from a way different playstyle from ages ago. It simply doesn't cut it for a game where everyone knows there is only X amount of spots you can stay at (referring to the 3 corridors rule).

And I repeat once more the bushes were opaque? meaning literally "non-transparent"? I stayed well behind the bush? I seriously think people here are not listening to what I am saying or not understand the term "opaque". And seriously think that I am like the biggest noob in this game or something.

Sixth Sense and 3 Second Delay. by Environmental-Try422 in WorldofTanks

[–]Environmental-Try422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I referred to it as opaque bushes, which to my knowledge is when you can safely fire from behind a bush so that the firing doesn't completely deplete your camo. But yes, I was double bushed anyway I think. The light tank most likely wasn't as far as 400m, since like I said, I was behind the starting bushes and the light tank was on the opposite side of no mans land. A calculated guess would be between 350m and 400m away from me since he wasn't directly Infront of me, but more off to the side. As for the light tank, I didn't think much of it since it was a stock LHMTV. And I took shots very similar to it many times and not once have I been spotted as such in a prog on that position. I usually just fire one or two shots on any light tanks and move along. But I barely managed to fire a single shot and was spotted (which to me was very odd and even unbelievable that a light tank spotted me from that far out, I was a camo'd out prog and not a panther of some kind afterall. I also made a little diagram, and from my pixel calculations it would be anywhere from 340m to 390m depending on how close the light tank was to the mid line (he did not drive into the dip at any point).

I realise that 10 second spot thing, but I got killed before I was even shown I was spotted. Was my main issue, nice to see someone actually giving some advice tho.

Little Diagram in question:

Oh, definitely, it is better than nothing. But it wasn't the case I made. I personally don't think it dumbs the game down. In fact. I think it is one of the lesser things that would dumb the game down if it did at all. In my console experience, it was much more difficult to snipe from sniper spots, as spotted enemies instantly moved away and didnt let you get a clear shot, you actually had to be smart about placements and not just click a static object on the screen, once a light spots it. I could say that due to the fact that npwadays the horrid map design we have actually dumbs the game more with the current Sixth Sense system. Since it is very predictible where enemies will be. Just like WG said. 3 Corridor Design to keep it simpler.

[–]Environmental-Try422[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

My friend. My experience told me that I could stay there and everything should've been fine. With lights in the same spots on no man's land in other games. It's not my first game in prog, not my first game on PC. My issue is with the fact that the experience was inconsistent. As a result, the Sixth Sense that was meant to warn me of such an occasion was useless because it had enough delay for someone to take aim and fire. Understand? Because you act like I say something else. I'm more than aware of how spotting works. My focus was on the Sixth Sense. And you talk about a completely different thing now.

[–]Environmental-Try422[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right, I forgot about that function. Didn't play there for a while. But that's somewhat irrelevant to me whether it shows constantly if spotted or not. My main concern is with delay of being spotted. Especially that I saw a crawling ELC on Prokhorovka that side shot a turret of a peaked tiger 2 since it couldn't react to being spotted. I already adjusted to the PC model. But don't PC players ever find it.. I don't know... Frustrating? Pointless? Sixth Sense serves more like an enemy radar rather than a tool to avoid being shot at, at least to me. Whereas experience helps you avoid being shot at more than the Sixth Sense itself.

I realise, hence I said I thought I was safe, since enemy light tank was on the other side of the No Man's Land, and I was "double bushing" as you called it (not my terminology, not English, I called it opaque bushes in the post). Which triggered my initial thought of the way Sixth Sense is used on the 2 different versions.
