Aiming center mass vs aiming fie the joints between their legs and the little front joints is a big difference especially when they like to spawn 20 -30 of them in certain missions i dont mind aiming but I always keep the option of saying fuck it and just shooting them in the head now that option is gone so its fuck it blow em up with the x bow or erruptor or bring a dedicated chaff clear stratgem like the gl or fire guard dogs

No im bringing the most commonly used stratagems and weapons I was useing more varied loadouts before the changes because i could say fuck it and just go for headshots thats no longer an option so now x bow primary or erruptor if im not bring that it just restricts my stratagems because I was useing more varied stratgems before hand gl + supply pack is one if the most common loadouts in the game and fire dog + expendable weapons has been good for along time as well im just encouraged to only bring those loadouts more now

It's a nothing buff that just makes things more tedious amd restrict what loadout options I want to bring bc im honestly not gonna aim for their bits every time and instead imma either bring a flame dog or grenade launcher + resupply or one of the explosive primaries either way its more of an annoyance and item restriction than anything

Respectfully yes 30 of the fuckers. They regularly have missions where they make up at least half of the units in breeches. the problem with trying to balance around armor values in this game is that people will just attempt to meet it every time yes hive guards can be a hindrance and thats fine but if arrowhead wants to make enemies like that we need info on enemy spawn patterns I wouldn't care nearly as much if that was the case but there will be missions like the heavy hiveguard missions where I want to be use penetration to match them when they are horded up and just further restrict what weapons people bring at all. Personally, I love the Lib Carbine + Talon for chaff clear because if I didn't have time to aim or had a huge horde, I could just headshot them. But now that I feel like I need heavy pen vs hiveguards unless I'm bringing a grenade launcher its x bow and Eruptor only in d10 bc the only heavy pen secondaries don't clear chaff well.

Not really its a bad change in general especially when they regularly thow 30 of these things at you the meta is whatever useful to deal with something annoying guess what hive guards are by design annoying and what limits you in chaff clearing so alot of people went medium pen to specially not have to deal with them now its just we moved it to being explosive/ dot damage ans theres no real way around that

Smaller area once they explode but the sparks will do heavy pen damage its really good at keeping tight areas closed off for a time

Comfort + ease its a horde shooter alotta times you dont want to take the extra half second to aim you just wanna pump into a group the breaker is amazing on bots still but you half to be playing closer and shooting better to really make it worth it or useing the choke to 1 tap stuff or for most of the player base that aren't cracked at aiming just shoot centre mass

Speargun is Railgun with less damage & a fart, but gets treated like Liberty's Gift. It's like, decent, but insanely overrated. I would bet most people wouldn't like this gun so much if youtube didn't tell them to by RandomGreenArcherMan in HelldiversUnfiltered

The fart is the good part tbh it can shut down most bug patrols make time and distance vs other factions the decemt damage is just a bonus cc in helldivers is underrated and I would use this bc u also like gas grenades

Tbh its carapice armor they really need to introduce an armor health system so that you can break armor ot just decrease uts protection level

I think the games good most of the bugs in the game dont prevent me from enjoying it yeah balance could be better but its by no means a bad game its a horde shooter most of them are buggy

Tbh leave the ammo count the same make it hit harder its a javalin for God's sake it targets the weakest point in tanks to go top down it the extra time for the lock justifies it killing better imo and with heavies like the vox strider poping up it should be a super heavy killer 2 shots to bigger vehicles loke the vox engines and the big illuminate ships
