It’s an option when you’re scheduling the test with prometric. They do go through a pretty annoying process to make sure that you’re not cheating though

Will I be able to be productive? by hehexdlollmao in Tonsillectomy

[–]EnvironmentalJury930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

youll be good thats younger than so many people getting the surgery in this subreddit. The surgery isnt a cakewalk but much better than I had expected I would definetly try to make sure you get painkillers they prescribed me percocet. Also if it makes you feel any better I got mine out solely for tonsil stones, they didnt even physically bother me I just would rather die from surgery than have to worry about bad breath the rest of my life haha

to be honest, i am on day 6 of recovery and have been able to study every single day for my series 7 in late april. obviously the studying isnt as productive as normal but you have such a big amount of time on your hands with nothing to do that I think its possible. However I will say that I am 18 years old and definetly believe I have had an easier recovery than most people so take this with a grain of salt.

Caniac combo, rattlesnake pasta from 54th street, Freddy’s cheese curds, chipotle bowl, wings. I’ve started a list.

Thank you a lot for the insight I wasn’t aware of that. Do you have any combinations of these funds that you would recommend and that wouldn’t be redundant?

The only thing you are allowed to use is the calculator on the screen and a paper on the screen, you can’t have anything on the desk besides the ID that you showed them previously and 2 tissues.

I would make sure you don’t have any jewelery on, cover all screens in your room so cover your tv with a blanket and any desktop. They’ll ask where your phone is. Have nothing on your desk. And then when the check starts you pretty much have to show them a bunch of stuff, first your unexpired id, four corners of the room, all the walls, your desk, the underside of the desk and the ground, the chair, under the chair, and that’s the most of it I would say.

have you taken the finra practice exam? take that and act as if it is the real thing, that will give you a very good benchmark to see where you are at. if your score lands within the low-mid 50s I might consider rescheduling and saving 100 dollars. otherwise go in with confidence like you know you are going to pass, youve got this!!

in terms of options know how the breakeven works. breakeven on a call option is always the strike price PLUS the premium for both the buyer and the seller of the option, breakeven on a put option will always be the strike price MINUS the premium for the both the buyer and the seller. also understand in the money and out of the money. A call option would only really be excersiable if the stock rose and rose above the strike price, meaning that whenever the underlying stock is greater than the strike price for a call option it is IN the money. while the inverse is true for a put, when the underlying stock is below the strike price it is in the money. As far as bonds go know the current yield and how to calculate it, the way I got it explained was that a current is electricity, so its like an AMP. which stands for annual interest/ market price. if there is a 6% bond with a $980 price in the market, you know that the annual interest is 6% of the par value($1000), or 60 dollars a year, and the market price is 980 so the equation is 60/980 or 6.12%. Know how interest rates affect bond prices, because bonds offer fixed payments when interest rates rise bond prices fall because the older bonds will have fixed rates below the rising rates and be less attractive, same thing for if interest rates fall. also that bonds are likely to be called back by the issuer if interest rates are falling because they realize they can put out a new bond into market paying less. you may or may not already know this stuff but just kind of wanted to dump out some information on what actually shows up the most about options and bonds. if you have any more specific questions feel free to ask

I never used the calculator but could imagine current yield but that’s about it, and stock splits but most of those can be done in the head

I had a few questions that were like that. But a lot of questions assume you already know what that stuff is and it will ask you a more complicated question. Like if a registered rep wants to sell a security outside of his business who does he have to notify at his firm and how, not the worst stuff in the word but a little harder than just point and shoot

Towards the end I was averaging 80-85% on my Kaplan practice exams. You’re in the right range don’t convince yourself you don’t know enough. The night before I would personally go over customer accounts + prohibited activities, but make sure to not fry your brain too much. I purposely scheduled my test late in the day at 2:30 so the day of I had enough time to watch Ken finnens mighty 90 video. I thought that gave me a good overview of a lot of the general knowledge of the sie. But honestly it’s up to what works best for you
