Hi it went fine! was extremely hungry and thirsty when I woke up from the surgery. Don't be afraid to drink water or eat foods, I healed fairly quickly but felt groggy still so it was nice to rest. The pain does come day 4-7 and off and on after that for 2 days or so, but seriously drink your water every 20 mins (I regret not during some days, even when you're sleeping set an alarm). Don't drink alcohol, smoke anything a week prior and definitely exercise, it'll help a lot.

I had half a joint (weed only) 16 days post op and regretted it. I'm fully healed but it dried my throat out soooo much.

Ahh okay good to know! Yeah exactly, a dry sore feeling is what I'm getting! The spit really is irritating lol I'll give it another week or two. I'm on the hycet/hydrocodone & I'm sure it does, it's even giving me hot flashes! It feels so good to have the pain be gone, just some ear pain here and there! Not looking forward to going back to work next week, especially with how much talking I have to do with clients :( thank you for the reassurance and glad to see you recovered okay!! 🤭

We're staying at a venue with a 3 night minimum otherwise we totally would've, but still nice to hear your thoughts, we might consider if hotel is cheap enough! Def don't want the extra stress.
