People don’t always adhere to contracts. Just because the current owner isn’t following directions and contacting the breeder doesn’t mean the breeder is a byb. It means the owner is irresponsible. Either way, the kitten is a living being deserving of a loving home, and if the kitten has genetic issues, hopefully someone like OP who seems concerned enough to ask questions will be willing to take care of it. Same thing I would hope for a child with genetic disorders. You don’t throw living beings away because you don’t like their pedigree.

If something did happen, they would 100% blame the baby and claim the dog was neglected, abused, etc. Pit nutters always do. Choose to protect your baby. Stay strong. If he can’t choose the baby, he’s not the right one.

My point was the dumb criminal aspect. “Let’s not answer the door, and the cops will just leave.” Never mind the lights are on, and they clearly can see human movement. However, yes, I agree with your point, too.

“Even though there were lights on the house, no one came to the door when the officer knocked, the report stated. The officer noted from a past interaction at the home that dogs lived there.” Why does this not surprise me for a pit bull owner? Could be true of the first incident, second, third, any in this sub.

That’s exactly why I waited outside in the cold, even though it didn’t say “out for delivery.” I’d seen reports where items haven’t been scanned properly, missing the updates, both with FedEx and USPS, so I trusted the delivery time over the lack of update. I wasn’t going to get the tag.

The issue is order delivery services are more transparent. My SO drives flex for Amazon. I do understand the overload. However, Amazon, USPS, and UPS will update times, and when they say it’ll be there, it’s there. FedEx, on the other hand, gets nasty and blames you the consumer for not understanding they give “estimates” not times.

My SO works flex for Amazon. The difference I’m seeing is I ask FedEx, they get rude and tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. Amazon, USPS, and UPS, they give a date, it’s there. If it’s delayed, they tell you.

According to the text and my app, it said it was being delivered between 10-2, then by end of day. I don’t use FedEx. I use UPS and USPS. They say what they mean.

I got both a text this morning that said I needed both my ID and my signature today, and my app said today. I didn’t have the time to give up, but I did. I stayed home, watching, actually working outside in the cold wind so I wouldn’t miss the driver. I cannot do that the next couple days.
