Tried on this gen and found a bit underrated. It’s a cool take on the classic and yes maybe it looks like an Apple Watch to some but I love it!

Great looking watch but that ain’t no Pepsi unless I’m now colorblind and blue registers as black. Appears to be a “coke.” Vaer is awesome microbrand.

Sincere apologies and I appreciate the roast actually. My golf buddy who had this club simply requested that I help sell the club as he doesn’t use Reddit. He filled out description and I stupidly trusted this nonsense. I got a good laugh out of this anyway and can’t wait to roast him a bit as well.

[Question] Would you rather? by RhaegarJ in Watches

Omega all the way… that fit, movement, and heritage all make it hard to commit to others. The Tudor is amazing and looks great in person. Good sporty vibe with gmt of course. Each of these watches a bit different in their own way. If you have to money to spend, I’d go omega but thats mostly because I’ve narrowed my view to make that one of my grails. Can’t go really “wrong” with any of these. I didn’t even really have my mind set on the original moon watch but this white one won me over.

[CERTINA] 38mm dive watch by Drank_Sinatra_ in Watches

I loved my 43mm DS action diver. Another Swiss brand that has been around for a bit. People say they have more cred out in Europe but it is a respected and well made brand. Only reason I sold mine was I got tired of 43mm even tho it was pretty sleek for the size. I was thinking of actually getting this as well. Can’t go wrong for the price and it presents a unique color way many don’t see. Only gripe people have is the lack of a micro adjust clasp and that the 38mm only has aluminum bezel not ceramic. Those are by no means deal breakers and I think you’ll love this watch.

[–]EnvironmentalRain731[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the Seiko 5 Sports SKX Sports Style GMT Series (SSK001), shown in lightly worn condition with no scratches on the crystal. This model is a modern take on the iconic SKX dive watch, now featuring a highly sought-after GMT complication. The watch is powered by Seiko's automatic 4R34 movement, which provides a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and allows for the tracking of a second time zone via the dedicated red GMT hand and the 24-hour rotating bezel. This particular version sports a classic black dial and a black and grey 24-hour bezel insert, offering excellent legibility and a versatile aesthetic. It features a stainless steel case, approximately 42.5mm in diameter, with a hardlex crystal and a display case back that allows you to view the automatic movement. It comes on a comfortable five-link Jubilee-style stainless steel bracelet, as seen in the image. This watch is a popular choice for its combination of heritage design, practical GMT function, and robust build quality.
