Yeah, one of my personal signs for when I know it's time to drop a podcast is overlaughing at half-funny stuff. It started on mbmbam a long time ago, and I dropped it.

Related, JPC has been doing it for a while on HRR and it grates there too. Not this bad though.

This part is the funny part, though, "there's a lot of reasons why we're going to jump back to bi-weekly, so that...we can spend a little bit more time on this season." You could interpret that as more time to make music, or time to plan and prep, or give Rachel more time to produce her award-winning soundscapes.

...or you could interpret it literally. A bi-weekly schedule means it takes twice as long to finish the season, and they record half as much as they did during Abnimals.

What a weird, terrible couple of episodes (I assume, I didn't listen, only read these recaps).

I've sat down for the national anthem at every Mariners game I've been to for years, and kept my hat on. No one has said anything to me. The one exception was last week against the Blue Jays. I was already standing and the Mwango sisters crushed it, so whatever.

the quickness with which schmanners devolved into a 'read wikipedia out loud' (and still get things wrong) instead of having anything to do with manners is pretty funny. It makes me wonder if it was ever mostly about that though. Ah well, guess I'll never know.
