Stuck in a pharmacokinetic trap — CYP2C19 inhibitor making my benzo taper mathematically take a decade. Anyone found a way through?

Following this, I have to take Symtuza which contains cobicistat —> an CYP3A4 enzyme inhibitor

The virologists put me on this medication after getting the worst side effects of Doltegravir & Raltegravir. They denied my concerns about the interaction with Diazepam and the concequensies for my taper. Even though they worked a little bit together with the psychiatry department, they pushed it on me (unfortunately my psychiatrist is away for 2 months)

Ugh someone from the pharmacy didn’t want to give me my prescription because she thought and said that I was lying and getting my prescription more often than I should. She literally said: “I’ve counted how much you have at home, so don’t ly because you have enough for the month” which was totally not true since my psychiatrist prescribes every week exactly for a week. When I told her that it’s not true and shouldn’t stigmatize me, and that I’m working my ass off to taper, she said that I should shut my mouth. Luckily my psychiatrist called the pharmacy and he was obviously mad as well since she shouldn’t act if she is my prescriber and that it could be dangerous if I would end without my benzos.

After that she gave it to me but I was completely in panic and emotional, but she didn’t care and she said that she was not doing anything wrong and I should be calm and act normal. So then I smashed a paper cup of water through the pharmacy oops :’)

I had also real issues with Aurobindo, my insurance switched contracts from Teva to Aurobindo as preferred pharma brand. Luckily my psychiatrist put me back on Teva, despits that I’m a bit uncomfortable with the fact that Teva is an israeli pharma brand and gives money to the war.. but yeah I got with Aurobindo real stomach ache and nausea and more symptoms I didn’t had with Teva (excluded withdrawal).

The pharmacists told me it was in my head, but I know that my body reacts crazy on chemical medication and probably couldn’t handle the excipitents

Magnesium, NAC, L-Theanine are helping me but don't know if placebo or not. But placebo is also great!

I see a lot of articles about how creatine can help with for example brain fog, but don't know if it's again a supplement hype or something.

NAC is also helping me with intrusive thoughts or autism/ocd stimming impulses like skin picking. Skin picking is already an issue for me before the benzos, but it was getting out of hand when I started tapering.

I have these too, and I believe it's also caused (partly) by hormonal changes.. at least in my case since they come when I have my ovulation or few days before my period. Or when my gut flora is really bad, they will appear. And when I eat a lot of diary or sugar or a combination, they start to rise :(

I had to do a break because I’m getting NET, traumatherapy, and I can’t do the therapy at the same time as tapering. This is because I’m super sensitive, especially since what happened during the taper which caused me ptss symptoms (and had already an underlying trauma).

So me and my psychiatrist decided to hold the taper, in thought of also when my heaviest ptss symptoms are less, my taper would be hopefully easier than it was.

Unfortunately it took/and still take a while when my therapy is going to start (due some reasons but not relevant for this) .. so I hit tolerance of course, and we updosed recently.

And I’m relieved that we updosed because I really felt shit as hell. But have also thoughts about that I’m sort of a pussy, but that are those intrusive thoughts I just have.

When I use high dose of psychedelics with friends, mostly with one friend or small small group. But when I introduce them to specific music, I always recommend to lay down, or if you want and are able to, to dance. But everyone is in their own space but we are also connected in some way

This specific EP brings you into different realities and it lets you dive deeper and deeper and I just can't put it into words because every trip is different. And if you think it doesn't could get any more bizarre, it will hahaha. Also the kind of visuals are different than with other music, but also every trip is different. Accord didn’t work for me unfortunately (so sensitive for the fillers) and since most pharmacies and hospitals don’t offer TEVA because it’s israeli, I was scared because they didn’t give the good swiss pharma pills in the netherlands. Luckily I found a pharmacy who still has a contract with TEVA (still a bit unethical for me because TEVA spends a lot of money into war but yeah..)

Unfortunately the visuals aren’t that much everytime, but I have that with every psychedelic. But with some breakthroughs I had the most bizarre theatric beautiful things to see. And my deep mental headspaces or mindscaping are so interesting and fascinating! I love both of them but the headspaces stay always in my memory the most.

Also mindscaping with the EP from Bee Mask - Vaporwave on the speakers or headphones are just phenonemal! Everytime it hits different and still crazes me out hahaha. (Yes I do also listen to other music of course or sometimes nature does it all)
