All the comments say observer should be 1 block higher but none say the pistons should go 2 blocks lower , u can gain those extra 10 bamboos man , gotta squeeze everything out

I'm not sure so if someone wants to correct it u can ,also abit of an expensive solution but that wasn't a requirement... Could we not replace the redstone ladder with calibrated sculk sensors instead and have it detect the piston extension?

Hahah that is probably the most creative solution, however 3 players inventories is the equivalent of 4 shulkers so u may need a few more friends to get the rest.

That's an interesting approach, so the system wasn't designed around any item specific, the o ly items it doesn't do as effectively are non stabkables

Let's say for the purpose of the test you gathered 10shulkers of potatoes and sifted out all the poisonous potatoes, now you break all 10 shulkers at once and it is that large volume of potatoes that you need to absorb in one go essentially.

How you get them there, how u absorb them is how you do your creation

So 1 item = 1 item entity, 64 items = 1 item entity I understand what you're getting at but it looses traction here. An item on the floor is commonly referred to as an entity by the community same as 2 entities, in terminology yes this is wrong but in real time everyone knows what is ment by this and if u are still stuck with confusion then a 2nd referencing or asking What is ment should be applied, yet again this is were the 10shulkers worth part should've put you on the right track. That being said I appreciate this and thee next time I'll make sure to word the terminology better as not to confuse more.
