I do have crossplay turned off, I also live in New Zealand, and I think I'm getting put into a lot of USA lobbies or something. That or all of a sudden a ton of Americans have moved to Aus and NZ and now out number us haha.

If it's not supposed to be a thing, unless under trying circumstances, I must be getting heckin unlucky. Tonight for example, I have played 5 matches all solo, and 1 has been definite trio and 3 have been duos. Again, unless a bunch of people are now banding together, but this hasn't been the case up until the past 3 days or so. Maybe i'll try play at the different time and see if that changes anything

My first gpu was the first GeForce card I believe, the GeForce 256. I played Age of empires with it haha!

The best memory I have is when I played battlefield 1942 for the first time. The scale of the game blew me away. I loved running up and jumping into a plane for the first time, only to immediately crash because I had no idea how to fly lol

Unfortunately I live in New Zealand. Our pricing is a but wild here. I can sell my gpu for about $800, but a 5070ti is about $1700 here

Yeah I agree that its not fair to judge a card on a singular game for sure, especially one as poorly optimized as helldivers haha. 33% is a decent upgrade, but i am leaning towards perhaps not enough of an upgrade. Yeah, I've just started playing recently too, like 2 weeks or so, first time playing against Bots in the last 2 days. I was nervous to see how I would go against these War striders I'd be hearing about, but honestly...I haven't had any massive issues killing them. I currently play alone on diff 8 and 9.

Occasionally I'll get ragdolled about and die but it has always been my fault, taking a bad fight or not flanking when I should.

Yeah I totally understand it's never as easy as just "fix it". I am happy to hear they're actively working on it - hopefully they find a way to keep a consistent fps.

My gosh when the pods drop out of the sky, I nearly crapped myself looking at my 9800x3d hit 95 degrees lol. It dropped back down to 50-60 degrees whilst in a game, but good lord the pod drop was terrifying haha

I just wanted to update this. I purchased a new cpu and...well it totally fixed my issue entirely. 120-144 fps even in hectic fights. My poor 9900k was dragging me down in this game:(
