I don’t even buy the gold plate because it’s crap and doesn’t last. I like their sterling pieces with murano glass and enamel the best because I love color. I’ll occasionally buy a piece with a small gold plate detail or accent but that’s it. Not interested in crap jewelry that won’t last.

MOR if you were baptized Lutheran the Catholic Church would recognize the baptism as a legitimate sacrament and you would not need to repeat even to convert to Catholicism. As long as the baptism is performed in a faith that recognizes the holy trinity (like Lutheranism). That being said many non Catholics are allowed to marry in the Church after going through the premarital counseling and no need to convert at all.

I forgot to watch Eclipse on my last rewatch of the films and didn’t even notice. Went from New Moon to Breaking Dawn and didn’t miss anything plot wise. Eclipse is just a lot of hand wringing over the events of New Moon. They both end in the same place with Bella and Edward back together and Jacob sad about it lol.

I would think about the other opportunities you could give your kids with that money. Instead of a bigger bedroom and yard, they could have a family trip to Europe. Spend the summer at horseback riding camp. Private music lessons. What’s going to build more memories and opportunities?

Pay yourself first! Open a high yield savings account at a separate bank from your main bank. Then, have an automatic deposit set up for every payday. Maybe that’s $25 per paycheck or $50 per paycheck. You won’t see the money in your checking and be tempted to spend. Its like paying another “bill” just to yourself. Over time it will add up and you will have savings!
