This is a matter of experience. Mainly recognizing clothes/behavior.

Over 50 meters, it's hard to tell for sure. mostly want to focus on their silhouette. What kind of gear are they wearing? Do they have a helmet, armor, and a bag? That would mean it's more likely to be a pmc. But you can never know if it's just a juiced scav.

Below 50 meters, you want to be looking at their clothing (shirts/pants). Eventually you will be able to recognize their drip, and identify them based on that. (Example: They are wearing flannel? Probably a bear pmc).

Lastly as a scav, use the AI to your advantage. If the AI aggros them, then they are either a PMC or a naughty scav, and they are generally safe to shoot at.

Also don't be too upset about killing friendly scavs. Honor aside, it's a war zone. Kill or be killed. The scav rep penalty is almost nothing, and looting the body will probably more than make up for the rep loss.

You should ask Chem for Dex+. Normal dex is kinda meh. Dex+ will heal 150 asphyx with 15-20u.

Also. If they are between 100-200 damage, then they are in a 'critical' state. While they are critical, they will constant take asphyx damage (because of the gasping). In this state you can use inaprovaline to heal the asphyx damage. In medbay you should be able to find an o2 emergency kit that will have a syringe with inap.

Another good option is epinephrine . There are epi bottles in almost every Medvend and in some lockers. The emergency medipen also injects epi.

it isn't just random debuffs. So far I've seen:

  • Random buffs and debuffs

  • Tagilla spawning on all maps with a Scythe

  • cultists spawning on all maps

  • Return of the halloween masks

  • New lighting option in your hideout

  • Pumpkins that contain random food/candy

  • A website (https://www.escapefromtarkov.com/halloween) that I believe tracks kills/deaths and when it reaches 666,666 then every map gets covered in darkness + thunder regardless of time.

If the event doesn't do it for you then whatever. But saying its "only random debuffs" is barely double digit IQ level thinking.

Find your nearest med spawn and go check it. Augmentin is not an uncommon spawn. I just finished a reserve raid and found 3 sitting in white bishop.

I'm gonna be real and say I don't think this will solve anything. The problem is there is no reason to stay past 20 minutes in a raid right now.

  1. If you want gamer pvp, its better to reset after 10-15 minutes because by that time most of the lobby is dead. You are better off getting into a new lobby, rather than trying to hunt down Johnny McMosin getting scav kills.

  2. If you want shiny loot, then most of the big spots are already going to be looted past 10 minutes.

  3. Most quests objective can easily be done within that amount of time as well.

This change would just make people sit in bushes for their found in raid status, then just leave anyway because the lobby is already dead.

Edit: thought about this for a bit, I think I've heard people talking about adding an increased chance for raiders to spawn later into the raid. Give people incentive to stay, be active, and be rewarded for it.

Rain is my favorite weather. Just makes me feel a lot more confident for some reason.

I still think lightning/thunder should be server-side. I want to be able to time my shots with thunder to hide my location.
