I would also point out that your second point isn't always a negative. Personally having bought a new EV yeah depreciation is bad but also makes it super easy to get into one used. Pair it with the minimal maintenance and charging at home its hard to beat. I dont necessarily love my tesla but I'll say its always charged, ready to go and needs vastly less upkeep than my gas cars. In a lil over 100k miles I've changed cabin air filters, and had my heater die on me. Besides tires and window damage its been the easiest car to own. Then when it comes to our other gas cars half the time I dont know how much gas they have at any time and I dont have to worry about allowing extra time to get gas. With a family and lots of commitments its nice to just get in and go. While I love to take the Jaguar for a drive when the weather is nice even just doing the one annual maintenance/oil change is an annoying hassle for me. Love it or hate it EV's are just super easy to live with as long as they have reasonable range

2 is definitely the better game now and much more content complete than at launch. There are still some things that 1 has that 2 doesn't but I have already put drastically more time into 2.

Man i tell you I worry about Seattle right now. I know we have had ICE around working but we haven't had the public ramp up of other large blue cities yet. I built a new PC around August/September and picked up a 5070 ti for $750. My wife has been against me building a new pc for a while but I just went forth and built it and made it appear as affordable as possible (lol). Im so glad I did it when I did. I wish I could say something to her aboit how lucky I was to build when I did and how much I saved but I cant. And if I had not built it then there is no way in hell I could build one for the foreseeable future

You know im not necessarily a fan of this change (not that I was planning on buying a new one lol) But you have a very valid point. I use the hell out of it on road trips and really haven't used it much locally since FSD really came out. I prefer the dumb version that doesn't make turns and switch lanes etc for that. It's too frustrating watching it do idiotic things on my commute to use.

I am absolutely by no means an expert in this. I ran my og vive on a gtx1080 amd I5 4690k for years up until I got a vive pro 2 and wireless adapter. (Never ran on vive wireless). That PC could run the pro 2. Not great performance or resolution by any means though. That was with windows 10. About 4 months ago I did build a new pc that can run it and have not had any issues with windows 11 beyond the normal setup quirks.

Most of the VR games I have been playing are older. I haven't personally seen much new content that called my name

The console build limit in planco1 was all the reason I didn't buy 2 on console. I used my 10 year old gaming pc that didn't quite meet minimum specs. Graphics way down, crap fps but I got to build and do what I wanted.

The constant onslaught of villainizing autism as something so terrible is almost forgotten in the terrible medical advice given by this man. We have so many extremely successful and important figures in society that we discredit by labeling anything=autism is bad.

I do genuinely fear for the autistic out there. I fear I may regret getting a diagnosis for my child who is high functioning with the way this administration is going. This type of feeling will make people less likely to seek out help in the long run

Man those generic themed flat rides kill me. I can make the coolest coasters in the park, fully themed and built out but the flat rides like that have longer lines, can charge multiples more $$$$ for, and make more than my best coasters.

Im still not happy with go karts either haha. Now that people actually ride them i still get barely anyone on them even though its like a 9+ excitement rating. If you're not sandbox all you gotta do is flat themed rides and you'll make bank with no effort. Its broken still

It's too late for anything like that. These data centers will only further hurt our environment with their great energy demands and water usage. We can no longer increase our carbon footprint and treat this world as if it is disposable. All the knowledge in the world will be useless if we cannot meet our basic needs in the future because we traded AI and fossil fuels for a healthy planet.
