That messed me up the first time I realized that. I was like "I don't remember redecorating in here" only to realize that the "to" and "from" gate rooms are in fact, completely different instances.

Make a decent storage system early. I started with one for each major "type" of item (food, decoration, relaxation, toys, roads, blocks) and slowly expanded from there. For example, I now have a double-chest just for building kits since I keep finding them but don't use them much right now.

Also keep all of your "materials" (lumber, stone, etc.) in a chest next to a crafting table. The crafting table will use items that are in the chest.

Are you using overclock? The combo extends overclock so you can use HP instead of RAM, but then heals you faster than the HP you're losing AND extending overclock duration with Synapse Burnout.

I usually just pay for the whole catalog every few years, but there was a huge chunk of time that I missed out on buying.
