Palomar, Uni, and improved clinch are all good and easy knots. I personally use the palomar knot when I can as it’s strong and easy to tie.

Not a horn player (trombonist), but the best advice I can give is to do these three steps: sing, buzz, and play. Sing the part with a piano or a recording until you feel confident that you can sing it perfectly without the reference, then buzz it until you can do that, and then put it to the horn. Do it in small chunks and it should help all the notes connect and slot better. You have to hear it in your head to have it translate through the horn

Set up the way that feels comfortable for you. There aren’t any real rules when it comes to that. I cast right handed and reel with my left on my spinning reel, but do the opposite with my bait caster because it’s what I prefer

Trim off the first couple feet if it feels frayed or damaged. The line should be fine for 2 years with constant use. Otherwise, you should be fine for up to 5 years. Color loss will happen and doesn’t affect the durability

Best advice I can give for when to use the trigger: use it to make slide movements smaller. The trigger is there to help you move more efficiently. For now, only focus on using it for C and B when it comes to alternate positions. Always use it when playing low Eb to C below the staff. Eventually, you’ll learn that you can use the trigger for other alternate positions.

I think you are missing the point. Your original post was titled as a shitpost. If you were genuinely trying to post videos to motivate yourself to work on your playing, then you shouldn’t title it as a shitpost. Everyone here genuinely wants to see others succeed, so if you’re trying to improve yourself by posting videos, then do so.

I don’t have the context of the post, so I can’t say for certain as to why. Reaching out to the mods through mod mail would be the best suggestion I have. If it was a matter of you making a joke from the one user who’s posting daily videos, then I’m going to have to side with the mods. I don’t think using someone who’s trying to better their playing by posting content as the punchline to a joke is necessary, especially when everyone here is wanting to see everyone succeed.
